Changing Ear Tips

Select the best-fitting ear tip size for comfort and sound quality. Different sizes are included.

Connecting OnePlus Buds Z

First-time pairing: Open the charging box. Search for "OnePlus Buds Z" in your device's Bluetooth settings and connect.

Connecting to other devices: Place buds in the box, close, then press and hold the setup button for 2 seconds until the indicator lamp flashes white. Search and connect via Bluetooth.

Play Controls

Double-tap: Play/pause, answer/end call, next track.
Press and hold (2s): Voice assistant or previous track.

Note: Tap functions can be customized via the HeyMelody app.

Wearing Detection: Music pauses when earbuds are removed and resumes when worn.

Charging

Charging Buds

Place earbuds in the charging box and close the cover.

Charging the Charging Box

Connect the box to a power source using the USB Type-C cable.

Functions and Settings

Device Switcher: Buds automatically switch to the last connected device.
Wearing Detection: Automatic music pause/resume.
Voice Assistant: Activate via touch control.
Other Device: Install "HeyMelody" app for advanced settings and firmware updates on non-OnePlus phones.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Factory Reset

Place both earbuds in the charging box.
Keep the cover open.
Press and hold the setup button for 10 seconds until the indicator lamp flashes red, then white.

Upgrading the Buds

For OnePlus phones: Connect via Bluetooth, go to phone settings, tap Earbuds Functions, and enable Auto-update. For other devices, use the HeyMelody app.

Buds Lost/Pairing

Use "Find My Earbuds" (on OnePlus phones) or the HeyMelody app to locate lost buds. Follow Bluetooth pairing steps for new connections or re-pairing replacement buds.

Pairing Replacement Buds: Place new and old buds in the box, press setup button for 2 seconds.
