Getting Started
Replacing Ear Caps
The correct size of ear caps is essential for optimal noise reduction, sound quality, and comfort. Try different sizes to find the best fit. Note that your left and right ears may require different sizes. Medium (M) size ear caps are pre-installed.
Pairing and Connection
Connection to OnePlus Phone
For OnePlus 6 and later models: Enable Bluetooth on your phone, open the earphone charging case and place it near your phone. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Connection to Other Devices
Place the earbuds in the charging case and open the lid. Press and hold the function button for 2 seconds until the white indicator flashes. Then, go to your device's Bluetooth settings and select "OnePlus Buds 4".
Factory Reset
Place the earbuds in the charging case and open the lid. Press and hold the function button for 15 seconds until the red indicator flashes to restore the earbuds to factory settings.
Function Settings and Updates
For OnePlus Phone Users: Update the "Wireless Earphones" app (ColorOS 11+) or "OnePlus Buds" app (HydrogenOS 11) to the latest version. Customize earphone functions in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
For Other Android (and iOS) Users: Download and install the "HeyMelody" app from the Google Play Store or App Store to customize functions and update firmware.

The earbuds feature touch controls. Touch the indicated area to perform operations.

Charging
Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the lid to charge. The indicator light shows the battery status.
Indicator Colors:
- Green: High battery level
- Yellow: Medium battery level
- Red: Low battery level
Charging the Charging Box: Use a USB-C charging cable. Charging: Yellow light is solid. Charging done: Green light is solid.
Safety and Security Information
Please read and observe the following to ensure optimal performance and avoid dangerous or illegal situations.
- Temperature: Use between 0°C to +35°C; store between -10°C to +50°C. Extreme temperatures may cause malfunction. Battery performance may be affected below 5°C.
- Charging Environment: Charge in a well-ventilated area between 5°C and 35°C. Fast charging may be unavailable outside 15°C to 35°C.
- Do not charge the battery for more than 12 hours.
- Use only manufacturer-approved chargers, cables, and accessories to prevent electric shock, fire, or explosion.
- Do not replace, disassemble, modify, crush, or cut the battery.
- Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, or low air pressure locations.
- Batteries degrade over time and should be recycled or disposed of properly.
- Avoid dusty, smoky, humid, dirty, or magnetic environments.
- Discontinue use if the product is cracked or damaged.
- Hearing Protection: Avoid listening at high volumes for extended periods to prevent hearing damage.
- Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres or near blasting caps.
- Observe safety instructions in hospitals, service stations, schools, and aircraft.
- Do not use while driving.
- Electronic Implants: If you have implants (e.g., pacemakers), keep the device at least 15 cm away from the implant.
- Keep the device and accessories away from small children. Small parts may cause choking hazards. Supervise children during use.

- Damage from unauthorized disassembly, modification, etc.
- Force majeure (fire, earthquake, lightning).
- Improper usage not conforming to the user guide.
- Usage in environments not conforming to product specifications.
