FAQ about Multimedia and Network Download Function

  1. What should I pay attention to when updating the software?
A: (1) Do not turn off the device during the update process; (2) Do not use the remote control for any operation during the update process; (3) The software update process may take a long time (generally about 5 minutes), but the APK download process via the network is affected by the network, so it cannot be accurately estimated. Therefore, please wait patiently.
  2. Why are there no obvious changes after the software update?
A: Sometimes, software updates are intended to add new functions, while other times they are to improve device performance. Therefore, the content of each update is different. After the update, new functions may be added and there may be obvious interface changes. Or there may be no interface changes or added functions, but only improved performance.
  3. What if I accidentally touch the power supply during the update process and terminate the update?
A: Specific treatment methods: If a USB drive is inserted into the device, do not remove it. With the USB drive reboot, it should be possible to update. If the update does not start with the USB drive, you also need to turn off the device and restart it to see if it is normal. If you still cannot update again, contact the customer service center.
  4. Why is the USB device not detected when the USB drive is connected?
A: This may be due to a faulty mobile hard drive or insufficient power supply. If it is a faulty mobile hard drive, the mobile hard drive needs to be accessed by a computer, and then the mobile hard drive should be repaired. Specific steps: First, locate the drive on the computer, right-click the mobile hard drive, select "properties" in the pop-up box, and then select "tools". After that, start repairing the mobile hard drive or the selected USB drive. Second, if the power supply for the mobile hard drive is insufficient (the mobile hard drive will emit a "click" sound), it will cause the hard drive to not function normally. A voltage of 5V and a current of 500MA-700MA are required for USB devices to function. If the power supply is insufficient, it will cause read/write errors or even failure to recognize the mobile hard drive. The device will function correctly with USB within this range. If there is a power shortage, connect both plugs of one end of the USB cable to the USB port at the same time to increase the power supply. Additionally, you can use an external power supply (pay attention to choosing a suitable model). It is necessary to start the machine before inserting the USB drive.

HDMI Troubleshooting

HDMI Failure

  1. Check if the device-to-device connection cable is connected correctly or reconnect the HDMI cable.
  2. Check if the resolution of the external device meets the device's requirements.

No Image, No Sound

Image with Confusing Ripples

Usually caused by local interference. For example, cars, fluorescent lamps, hair dryers, etc.

No Color

A black screen in computer mode (i.e., when used as a computer monitor) may be due to an unrecognized resolution set by the computer. It is recommended to change to the optimal resolution or other standard Windows resolutions.

Normal Image, No Sound

If the volume is not turned up, press the volume + key; if there is no physical volume key, adjust the volume in the system settings.

Sound but No Image

Adjust the analog brightness.

Spark Interference

Black dots, horizontal lines, or images that appear to oscillate and shake. These phenomena are often caused by ignition systems, neon lights, interference from electric drills, or other electronic devices.
