Product Disposal Guidelines for Printing Calculators, Label Printers, and Accessories

Instruction for handling the product after its use:

Inappropriate handling of electronic waste could have a negative effect on the environment and living beings due to potential hazardous substances. Toxic material present in e-waste may get mixed with air, water, land etc. and cause health issues.

Customers are advised to ensure that the electronic waste is not disposed along with other wastes in non-industrial garbage bins. The symbol ? (crossed out wheeled garbage bin) indicates that the product after its end of life shall not be dumped in non-industrial garbage bins.

To ensure proper channelization of e-waste, customers are advised to return the e-waste generated after the end-of-life of the product at any of the nearest Service Centres/Customer Care Centres of Casio India. Consumers in the rest of the States (i.e., apart from the 20 States where collection centers have been engaged) are advised to contact Casio India directly on its email id casiocare@casio.co.in or on its direct line number (011-66999200) or on its toll-free number 18002022746, during working days between 09:30 am to 06:00 pm. Casio India will arrange to take back the end-of-life product from the customer at no cost.

Specific Collection Schemes

Casio India does not provide any incentive scheme for returning E-Waste through ASC/CCCs and does not have any buy-back arrangements or exchange scheme for channelization of E-Waste.

1. Timely collection of E-waste material from Casio India.
2. Safe & environment friendly dismantling/recycling of E-waste collected from Casio India.
3. To comply with all laws including obtaining of regulatory/statutory approvals as may be required to perform dismantling/recycling services.

Roles and Responsibilities of Reverse Logistic Partner:

1. Timely collection of material from Casio's authorized collection centers.
2. To comply with all laws including obtaining of regulatory/statutory approvals as may be required to perform logistics services.
3. Safe and environment friendly transportation of E-waste to Casio's designated place.
4. It shall be responsible for any injury/damage to the person/property of any third party caused due to its negligent actions or omissions or willful wrongdoing.
