Smart Pet Feeder with Camera (2.4G/5G WiFi)
Before using, please read the manual carefully and keep it properly for reference.
Safety Instructions & Precautions
- Do not use wet, canned or moist food. ?
- Do not use the data cable for any other purpose. ?
- If you need to use an extension cord, please use the same grade one.
- Please be sure to unplug the power supply before installing and removing the accessories. ?
- Do not immerse the body and power supply in the water or the electronic components will be damaged. ?⚡
- Do not put any items except dry food into the food storage bucket because it may cause abnormal conditions even pet safety problems. ?
- If you do not use the product for a long time, please remember to remove the battery and unplug the power supply. ??
- Do not attempt to repair or modify the pet feeder yourself. ?
- Children must be used under the guidance of an adult. ?
- To prevent food clogging, the kibble size should not be more than 10mm. ?10mm
- Do not store this product in humid place and do not use it for any other purpose. ?
- Using product accessories not provided or recommended by the original manufacturer may cause unsafe conditions. ⚠️
- Please place the feeder horizontally. It is recommended to place it against the wall to prevent tripping over the wire or being torn by pets. ?

- This product uses 4 AA batteries as a backup power supply, please use double power supply to ensure the normal use of the product (batteries not included). ?

Component Breakdown
- Safety Lock: Located on the lid.
- Lid: Covers the food tank.

Assembly and Prepare For Setting
Step 1: Connecting Power
- Insert the 5V power adapter into the socket and plug the power cable into the feeder. ?
- Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit and install 4 AA batteries (Not Included) for backup power during outages.
- The indicator under the camera will flash rapidly, indicating the feeder is on. ?
- When installing the food tank, assemble and follow the instructions. Ensure the food inlet is aligned with the dispensing outlet. ?➡️
- Pay attention to the impeller direction (FRONT/BACK). ?
Step 2: Filling Food Tank
- Fill the food tank with dry pet food.
- Note:
- 1. Please fill the food tank with dry pet food only; do not use canned, wet, or moist pet food.
- 2. Recommended kibble size ranges from 5-10mm (0.12-0.4in) in diameter.
Step 3: Assembling the Food Tray
- Align the bulging of the food tray and holes in the base, and push upward to connect them.
- Place the stainless steel feeding bowl onto the tray.
- Close the lid and lock the safety lock. ?
Button and Display Description
Buttons:
- 1. Recording Button: Used for recording audio/video.
- 2. WIFI Reset Button: Used to reset the Wi-Fi connection.
- 3. Indicator: Shows the status of the device.
- 4. Manual Feeding: Dispenses food manually.
Operations:
- Recording: Hold the Recording Button for 3 seconds. A cuing tone will sound. Keep holding to record. Release to stop.
- Delete Recording: Hold the Recording Button for 2 seconds to delete the last recording.
- Check Recordings: Press the Recording Button again to check recordings.
WIFI Reset and Manual Feeding
WIFI Reset:
- Hold the WIFI Reset Button for 10-30 seconds. A cuing tone will sound, and the indicator will flash blue, indicating the device is ready to connect.
Manual Feeding:
- Press the Manual Feeding button. One portion is approximately 15g.

Note: After the blue light starts flashing, please finish connecting your phone to the device within five minutes. Otherwise, the blue light will go out. If the time is exceeded, please reset by pressing and holding the WiFi Reset Button for 15 seconds.
Install the APP and Log In
App Installation:
Download and install the "Smart Life" App by searching it on Google Play (Android) / App Store (iOS).
Sign up and Log In:
After opening the app, if you don't have an account, please register one. If you have already, please log in directly.

Connecting
Note:
- 1. Make sure you have already turned Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on before you try to connect the device.
- 2. One device can be attached to only one account at a time, but when you share your control in the app, the device can be controlled by multiple phones.

Add and Connect the Feeder
- Connect and turn the power on. When the blue light is rapidly flashing and you hear the prompt tone, the device is ready to connect.
- (If the light is not flashing, please long press the reset button for 15 seconds to reset the device).
- Please open the Smart Life APP → Tap the [+] in the upper right corner to add the device.

App Prompts to Operate
Please follow the app prompts to operate.

Note: The mobile phone QR code needs to be aligned with the camera and kept at a distance of 15-20 cm, moving back and forth from far to near to scan the QR code.
Feeder Pairing
Select WI-FI Mode in the upper right corner, and then select AP Mode in the lower left corner.

Wait for the connection
Find and select "SmartLife-XXXX". After the Wi-Fi connection is successful, return to the APP and confirm the connection.

About the Camera
- SD/HD: Standard Definition/High Definition. The default video quality is HD (high definition). Tap SD or HD to select your preferred video quality.
- Video: Tap to start recording a video clip, tap again to end. Video clips are automatically saved in the Album section of the APP.
- Full Screen: Tap to view the feed in full screen.
- Screenshots: Tap to take a screenshot of the real-time screen. Screenshots are automatically saved in the Album section of the APP.
- Gallery: Tap to check the screenshots and video clips.
- Voice Calls: Enables two-way audio communication.

Switch the Mode
To enable the Two-Way Talk function, tap the [...] icon on the upper right.

One-Way Communication (Default Mode):
Hold the talk button to speak, release the button to end the talk. You cannot hear the other side when you are talking.
Two-Way Talk:
Tap the button to speak, the pet or people on the other side can hear you and talk with you. Tap again to end the talk. It ensures seamless communication between the two sides.

Cleaning & Care
We recommend cleaning the feeder regularly for your pet's health. The washable parts are: safety lock, lid, desiccant compartment, food tank, stainless steel feeding bowl, and bowl tray.

The WiFi connection goes off line frequently | 1) Keep the feeder close to your router; ensure the network signal is good. It is ideal to place it within 3 meters without obstacles and walls. 2) Make sure the power cord is connected firmly. 3) Restart the feeder. |
The indicators are off | 1) Check whether the electricity is cut off. 2) Check whether the indicator function is off in the App. |
The feeder's camera can't read the QR code on your phone | 1) Make sure the feeder is ready for network connection (the WiFi indicator is flashing). 2) Hold your phone about 6-8 inches away from the feeder's camera. Remove the food bowl and tilt the feeder as needed. |
Live video not showing. | 1) Switch to a stronger WiFi signal. 2) If the network is poor, change the video quality from HD (high definition) to SD (standard definition). |
Where are the photos and videos stored? | 1) The screenshots and video clips are stored in the Album section of the APP. 2) The video playbacks are stored in the Replay section of the APP. |
