Safety Instructions & Precautions

• Do not use wet, canned or moist food.
• Do not use the data cable for any other purpose.
• If an extension cord is needed, use the same grade one.
• Ensure the power supply is unplugged before installing or removing accessories.
• Do not immerse the body and power supply in water, as electronic components may be damaged.
• Do not put any items except dry food into the food storage bucket to prevent abnormal conditions or pet safety issues.
• If the product is not used for a long time, remove the battery and unplug the power supply.
• Do not attempt to repair or modify the pet feeder yourself.
• Children must be supervised by an adult when using the product.
• To prevent food clogging, kibble size should not be more than 10mm.
• Do not store the product in humid places or use it for other purposes.
• Using accessories not provided or recommended by the original manufacturer may cause unsafe conditions.
• Place the feeder horizontally. It is recommended to place it against a wall to prevent tripping or pets from tearing the wire.
• Read the cautions on the manual and package carefully.
• This product uses 4 AA batteries as a backup power supply. Use double power supply to ensure normal use (batteries not included).

The feeder consists of the following parts:

Assembly and Prepare For Setting

Step 1: Connecting Power

1. Insert the 5V power adapter into the socket and plug in the power cable of the feeder.
2. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit and install 4 AA batteries (Not Included) for backup power in case of an outage.
3. The indicator under the camera will flash rapidly, indicating the feeder is on.
4. When installing the food tank, assemble and follow the instructions. Ensure the food inlet is aligned with the dispensing outlet. Pay attention to the impeller direction.

Step 2: Filling Food Tank

Fill the food tank with dry pet food. Recommended kibble size is 5-10mm (0.12-0.4in) in diameter.

Step 3: Assembling the Food Tray

1. Align the bulging of the food tray with the holes in the base and push upward to connect them.
2. Place the stainless steel feeding bowl.
3. Close the lid and lock the safety lock.

Button and Display Description

The controlling panel features:

1. Recording Button: Used for recording voice prompts.
2. WIFI Reset Button: Used to reset the WiFi connection.
3. Indicator: Shows the status of the device.
4. Manual Feeding Button: Dispenses a portion of food.

Recording: Keep the Recording Button pressed for 3 seconds to start recording. A cuing tone will sound. Keep holding and not letting go. Within 10 seconds, the recording is complete. Release the button to finish.

Check the recordings: Press the Recording Button again.

Delete the recording: Keep the Recording Button pressed for 2 seconds.

WIFI Reset and Manual Feeding

WIFI Reset:

Keep the WIFI Reset Button pressed for 10-30 seconds. A cuing tone will sound, and the indicator will flash blue, indicating the device is ready to connect.

Manual Feeding:

Press the Manual Feeding button. One portion is approximately 15g.

LED Light State Description

Note: If the blue light starts flashing, connect your phone to the device within five minutes. Otherwise, the blue light will turn off. If the time is exceeded, reset the device by pressing and holding the WiFi Reset Button for 15 seconds.

Install the APP and Log In

App Installation:

Download and install the "Smart Life" App by scanning the QR code or searching on Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS).

Sign up and log in:

After opening the app, register for an account if you don't have one, or log in directly if you already do.

Connecting

Note:

1. Ensure Bluetooth and WiFi are turned on before attempting to connect the device.
2. One device can be attached to only one account at a time. However, you can share control in the app, allowing multiple phones to control the device.

Add and Connect the Feeder

1. Connect and turn on the power. When the blue light is rapidly flashing and you hear a prompt tone, the device is ready to connect. If the light is not flashing, long press for 15 seconds to reset the device.
2. Open the Smart Life APP, tap the [+] icon in the upper right corner to add the device.
3. Follow the app prompts to operate. The mobile phone QR code needs to be aligned with the camera and kept at a distance of 15-20 cm, moving back and forth to scan the QR code.

About the Camera

• SD/HD: Select Standard Definition or High Definition for video quality. The default is HD.
• Video: Tap to start recording a video clip. Tap again to end. Video clips are saved in the Album section of the APP.
• Full Screen: View the camera feed in full screen.
• Screenshots: Tap to take a screenshot of the real-time screen. Screenshots are saved in the Album section of the APP.
• Gallery: Access saved screenshots and video clips.
• Voice Calls: Enable two-way audio communication.

Switch the Mode

Tap the [...] icon on the upper right to access:

1. Two-Way Talk function
2. Basic Function Settings
3. Talk Mode
4. One-Way Communication

One-Way Communication (Default Mode): Hold the talk button to speak; release to end. You cannot hear the other side while speaking.

Two-Way Talk: Tap the button to speak. The pet or people on the other side can hear you and talk with you. Tap again to end. This ensures seamless communication.

Cleaning & Care

Regular cleaning of the feeder is recommended for your pet's health. Washable parts include: safety lock, lid, desiccant compartment, food tank, stainless steel feeding bowl, and bowl tray. Do not wash the feeder base, power adapter, or USB cable.

Cleaning Steps:

1. Press the release buttons on the sides of the feeder base to detach the food tank.
2. Lift the food tank upwards.
3. Unlock and remove the safety lock to detach the lid.

Note: Recommended amount of food per meal varies. One portion of this feeder is 10-20g.
