This guide provides instructions for the MH01 series smart wall switches, including installation, wiring, app setup, and operation.

Notes Before Installation
- Wi-Fi connectivity supports 2.4GHz networks only.
- This switch is designed for single-pole (one-way) circuits and is not compatible with 3-way switching.
- Basic electrical wiring knowledge is recommended. Consult a professional electrician if unsure.
- The ON/OFF button also functions as a reset button. A long press will reset the switch to factory defaults.
- This switch is intended for controlling lamps and is not recommended for other electrical breakers.
Installation Guide
- Power Off: Locate the circuit breaker controlling your light and turn it off. Verify that the power is off by testing the existing switch.
- Mounting Plate: Secure the provided iron mounting plate to the wall's mounting box using two screws with a screwdriver.
- Install Switch: Snap the smart wall switch unit onto the secured iron mounting plate.
Circuit Connection Diagrams
Power Supply Mode: Neutral Wire Required
This diagram illustrates a wiring configuration where a neutral wire is required. The power source provides live and neutral. The live wire connects to the switch, the neutral wire connects to the switch, and the load is connected between the switch and the neutral wire.
Power Supply Mode: NO Neutral Wire Required
This diagram shows a wiring setup where a neutral wire is not directly connected to the switch. The power source provides live and neutral. The live wire connects to the switch, and the load connects to the switch. The neutral wire from the power source bypasses the switch and connects directly to the load.

Smart Life APP Installation and Setup
App Download
Download the "Smart Life" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Alternatively, scan the provided QR code (QR codes are excluded from this output). The app is compatible with iOS 8.0 and above, and Android 4.4 and above.
Account Registration and Login
Enter the registration interface. Input your email address or phone number to receive a verification code and register an account. If you already have a Smart Life account, simply log in.
Registration Steps:
- Enter your preferred phone number or email address and select your country.
- Obtain the verification code.
- Enter the received verification code.
- Set a password for your account.
Adding the Switch to the App
Important Note: This smart switch supports 2.4G Wi-Fi networks exclusively and cannot work with 5.0G networks. Ensure your phone is connected to your home's 2.4G Wi-Fi network before proceeding.
- Pairing Mode: Ensure the indicator light on the switch blinks rapidly. If it does not, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to reset it into pairing mode.
- Enter Wi-Fi Password: Input the password for your Wi-Fi network.
- Connection: Wait for the device to connect successfully. The indicator light will change status (e.g., turn solid) upon successful connection.
- Device Added: Once the device is added, you can modify its name in the app for easier identification.
APP Operation Interface and Functions
Indicator Light Meaning
- Rapidly Blinks: The device is ready for connection (Default Mode only).
Key Functions
- Device Name: Modify the switch name and icon for personalization.
- Device Offline Notification: Receive alerts if the device goes offline.
- Switch Button: Control the connected light (On/Off).
- Share Device: Share control of the switch with family members.
- Create Group: Group multiple switches for simultaneous control.
- Add to Home Screen: Add a shortcut to the app's main screen for quick access.
- Setting Timer: Configure schedules for the switch to turn on or off automatically.
- Setting Countdown: Set a countdown timer for the switch to turn off after a specified duration.
- Check Device Network: View network status and connectivity details.
Timing Function Steps
- Tap to add a schedule.
- Select the specific switch you wish to schedule.
- Set the desired timing rules (e.g., time, days of the week).
