Using the Gate

To open the door:

  1. Push the door release button backward.
  2. Lift the door panel upward.
  3. Swing door open and release button.

Tips: If the door is opened past 90 degrees, it will stay open.

Visual description: A diagram shows a hand pushing a button on the gate handle (labeled 1), and then lifting the gate panel (labeled 2) to open it.

To fold the play yard:

  1. Loosen all of the locking knobs so the whole gate can move freely and become flexible at the joints.
  2. If the gate is in a play yard shape, remove one of the upper joints A from the play yard and remove one vertical rod K. This action allows the two plastic joints and the top and bottom of the play yard to be pulled apart.
  3. Fold and put away.

Care and Maintenance

Customers should periodically check the gate for signs of damage, wear, or missing components. The gate should not be used if any part is missing, worn, or damaged. The gate should be checked regularly to ensure all hardware and mountings are tightened. Abrasive cleaners or bleach should not be used. The gate can be cleaned by sponging with warm water and a mild detergent. In the event of any damage or breakage, Vingli Customer Service can be contacted for replacement parts.

Assembly Process

Step 1. Distinguish Direction

For connectors on the door panel, which are pre-installed, assembly starts from the door panel.

Customers should distinguish each direction of the 4 corner connectors on the door panel. Then, follow the model below to connect side panels with joints:

Connectors can be distinguished by looking at the curve or straight sideline.

When the fence stands, in each panel, the two upper plastic joint A (or bottom plastic joint B) in the horizontal direction should face opposite directions.

Visual description: Diagrams show various orientations of the upper (A) and lower (B) plastic joints, indicating how they should be aligned for proper assembly. Arrows show the direction of the curve or straight sideline for distinguishing orientation. A larger diagram shows a multi-panel gate with arrows indicating the correct opposing directions for the upper and lower joints on each panel.

Each upper joint A should face the same direction as the vertical bottom one B.

Visual description: A series of diagrams illustrate the correct alignment of upper (A) and lower (B) joints, showing how they should be oriented to connect panels, with arrows indicating the direction of connection.

Step 2. Connecting Side Panels

Checking before start:

Pre-installed V-shaped shrapnel (D) are in 4 corners of each panel, with a visible small metal button outside the hole.

Visual description: A close-up diagram shows a V-shaped shrapnel (D) with a small metal button protruding from a hole.

Tips: If the pre-installed V-shaped shrapnel (D) is missing, customers can use the 4 spare parts provided in the package and refer to the FAQ section for installation.

General Process:

  1. Install the lower plastic joints B on the bottom corner of the panel.
  2. Position the metal rod K to the B.
  3. Install the upper plastic joints A on the upper end of K.
  4. Connect A to the upper corner of the panel.

Visual description: A sequence of diagrams shows the assembly steps: a panel with a lower joint B, then a metal rod K being inserted into B, then an upper joint A being placed on K, and finally A connecting to the upper corner of another panel, forming a connection.

Method for installing upper & bottom plastic joints:

Press the metal button (outer part of V-shaped shrapnel D) and insert into plastic joints. A “Click” sound will confirm proper installation.

Visual description: A three-step diagram shows: 1) pressing the metal button on the V-shaped shrapnel, 2) inserting the plastic joint over the shrapnel, and 3) the joint fully seated with the button depressed, indicating a secure connection.

Disassembly Process

Customers should use an Allen Key (not included) to press down the small metal button and then separate the plastic joint.

Tips: The upper joint should be taken off first, and then the bottom joint.

Visual description: A diagram shows an Allen key being used to press a small metal button on a joint (labeled 2), allowing the joint to be separated from the gate frame (labeled 1). Another diagram shows the upper joint being removed, followed by the lower joint.
