Mounting Steps
The order of assembly steps must be followed.
- Preparation: Ensure you have the correct tools and parts. The net is designed for the original aluminum cases of BMW R1200GS-ADV and BMW F800GS/F800GS ADV motorcycles.
- Drilling: Carefully drill two holes in the lid of the aluminum case. One hole should be Ø 8.5 mm and the other Ø 5 mm. Ensure precise placement as indicated in the diagram. A warning symbol with 'STOP' indicates the drilling area to prevent over-penetration.
- Sealing and Fastening: Apply silicone sealant to the area around the drilled holes. Insert the provided screw through the lid and secure it with the corresponding fastener from the inside.
- Attaching the Net: Position the luggage net onto the lid, aligning its attachment points with the installed fasteners. Secure the net firmly.
- Final Check: Ensure the net is securely attached and does not interfere with the case's operation or other components.
