If parts require inspection and/or approval after fitting, take your vehicle to a testing station immediately and have the vehicle papers updated.

Important: Check and tighten all bolted connections after 50 km. For special tightening torques, refer to your specialist workshop.
Lean Angle Restriction: Be aware that fitting panniers, crash bars, foot peg lowering kits (rider and pillion), kickstand enlargements, front spoilers, and engine guards may restrict the motorcycle's lean angle.
Electrical Work: Always disconnect the battery when working on the electrics.
Brake & Suspension: Work on the brake system and suspension should always be carried out by a specialist workshop.
Load Limits: Maximum load for standard luggage racks is 5 kg. For ZegaPro TC luggage racks, the maximum load is 10 kg.
Accessory Compatibility: When using original or aftermarket accessories, ensure proper clearance, fitment, and check for potential collisions with other parts.
Lubrication: Apply conventional lubricant to stainless steel bolts prior to assembly.
Stone Chip Protection: It is recommended to apply a custom-cut protective film to impact areas that are likely to be chipped by stones.
Mounting Instructions
The fitting of the left and right side pannier extensions is identical.
- Step 1: Align the VOLUME BOOSTER extension with the original BMW aluminium pannier.
- Step 2: Secure the extension to the pannier.
- Step 3: Attach the locking mechanism to the secured extension.
- Step 4: Complete the attachment of the locking mechanism.
If modifications were made to the fairing, stem, handlebar, or fairing parts, ensure that electrical wiring, brake lines, accelerator and clutch cables are refitted correctly. Check clearance with both sides at full steering lock. Verify the free movement of all functional parts.
