The order of assembly steps must be followed.
Touratech accepts no liability for incorrectly fitted parts and resulting material damage or personal injury.

Check and tighten all bolted connections after 50 km. Standard tightening torques are for strength class 8.8. Refer to a specialist workshop for special torques.
Be aware that fitting panniers, crash bars, foot peg lowering kits, kickstand enlargements, front spoilers, and engine guards may restrict the bike's lean angle.
If modifying fairing, stem, handlebar, or fairing parts, ensure electrical wiring, brake lines, accelerator, and clutch cables are refitted correctly. Check clearance with full steering lock.
Always disconnect the battery when working on electrics.
It is recommended to apply protective film to areas prone to stone chips.
Work on the brake system and suspension should always be carried out by a specialist workshop.
Maximum load for luggage racks is 5 kg; for ZegaPro TC luggage racks, it is 10 kg.
When using original or aftermarket accessories, ensure clearance, fitment, and avoid contact with other parts.
Apply conventional lubricant to stainless steel bolts before assembly.
Fitting instructions are also available as a PDF download from the Touratech webshop.
Step-by-Step Installation
- Step 1: Prepare the new footpeg assembly. This includes the footpeg itself, a pin, and a retaining clip. The fitting of the left and right side footpegs is identical.
- Step 2: Use a suitable tool (e.g., a punch) to carefully insert the pin through the designated holes in the footpeg assembly.
- Step 3: Secure the inserted pin by fitting the retaining clip into its groove, ensuring it is properly seated.
- Step 4: Remove the original motorcycle footpeg from its mounting bracket. Then, mount the new Touratech footpeg onto the same bracket, ensuring correct alignment.
- Step 5: A final view showing the successfully installed Touratech footpeg on the motorcycle.
