Installation Procedures

The installation process varies slightly depending on the grille type (MFA/MFAN or DGA/DGAN) and specific model.

MFA/MFAN Grilles

Diagrams show the MFA/MFAN grille frame. Installation involves inserting the grille into the prepared opening and securing it, typically with screws. Specific fitting dimensions are indicated.

DGA/DGAN Grilles

Installation for DGA/DGAN grilles involves two main steps:

  1. Step A: Insert the grille into the designated frame or opening.
  2. Step B: Secure the grille using screws.

Diagrams illustrate the insertion and fastening process for various types (C/CN, V, CM, VM, HM, CMN, VMN, HMN) within their respective frames, showing specific fitting dimensions like 51/69.

General Installation Details

For C, V, H types (using DGA): The grille is inserted into the wall opening. Type C fits LxH, Type V requires L-8 x H-8, and Type H requires L-5 x H-5 cut-outs.

For CM, VM, HM types (using MFA): The grille is inserted into the MFA frame. These types require L+5 x H+5 cut-outs.

For CMN, VMN, HMN types (using MFAN): The grille is inserted into the MFAN frame. These types also require L+5 x H+5 cut-outs.

Diagrams show the grilles being pushed into openings (e.g., DGA, DGAN) and secured with screws, with detailed views of the fitting margins.

Visible Screw Holes and Dimensions

The number and placement of visible screw holes vary by model type (V, VM, VMN). Diagrams illustrate the general layout of screw hole positions (L1, L2, L3, H1, H2, H3) relative to the grille edges.
