Access Door EPFH with Bayonet Locking
This section provides detailed instructions for mounting the Lindab Access Door EPFH with its bayonet locking system.
Parts Included:
- Cover: The main door panel.
- Fitting: The frame or base that attaches to the ductwork.
- Slot: Grooves or channels on the fitting for the locking mechanism.
Mounting Steps:
- Step 1: Push the cover onto the fitting. Ensure the cover is secure and level all around. (Refer to Figure 1: Diagram showing the cover pushed onto the fitting, ensuring it is secure and level.)
- Step 2: Mark the holes for the rivets on the fitting. (Refer to Figure 2: Diagram illustrating the marking of rivet holes on the fitting.)
- Step 3: Remove the cover. (Refer to Figure 3: Diagram showing the cover removed.)
- Step 4: Drill holes for the rivets at the marked locations. (Refer to Figure 3: Diagram showing holes being drilled for rivets.)
- Step 5: Insert the rivets so that they extend past the drilled holes. The recommended size of rivet is Ø 4.0 mm in 9.5 mm length.
- Step 6: Push the cover back onto the fitting. Ensure the rivets enter the slots. (Refer to Figure 4: Diagram showing the cover being pushed back onto the fitting, with rivets entering slots.)
- Step 7: Turn the cover clockwise to lock it securely into place. (Refer to Figure 4: Diagram showing the cover turned clockwise to lock.)
