Location of the Cleaning Station

Place the station on a solid, level floor (wood, tiles) with its back to the wall. Ensure no obstacles are within 0.5 meters in all directions. A good Wi-Fi signal is necessary for app functionality. Plug the power cord into the outlet.

Power On and Charge

Remove the robot's upper cover and transport foam. Switch the main switch to 'I'. Wait for the Start/Stop button to stop flashing and remain lit, indicating the robot is ready. Switching the main switch to '0' turns off the robot immediately and prevents charging. Place the robot in the station to charge. The robot has a built-in Li-ion battery and should be kept fully charged for optimal performance.

TIP: If the robot cannot be started due to low battery, insert it into the station manually.

Turn On Wi-Fi

Press and hold the START/STOP and HOME buttons together for 3 seconds until you hear 'Start network configuration' and the Wi-Fi light flashes. The robot is now in pairing mode.

TIP: If the robot disconnects from Wi-Fi (e.g., due to router changes), reconnect it from the beginning.

Adding a Bot to Your App

Open the Rohnson Link app, press the '+' icon and 'Add device' on the home page. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the robot.

TIP:

Filling the Water Tank

Remove the water tank from the station, open the top cover, and fill with clean water up to the MAX mark. You can add approximately 10ml of mild cleaner. Close the tank and return it to the station.

The dirty water tank fills gradually with pumped water after mop washing. Empty it when full.

The robot has an internal water tank filled automatically from the station's tank.

TIP:

Vacuuming and Mopping

The RM-05 can vacuum, mop, or combine both modes. Settings are available in the mobile application. Ensure the station has water in the clean water tank and a dust bag installed before starting.

The default mode is Vacuuming and mopping. You can select different modes in the app. If 'Wipe' or 'Vacuum and wipe' is selected, the station automatically adds water to the integrated tank and wets the mops.

During mopping, the robot washes mops at set intervals. After cleaning, it sucks dirt into the station's dust bag, washes the mops, and dries them.

TIP: For the first use, it is recommended to let the robot vacuum twice before wiping.

Cleaning Process Details

Press the start button; the robot plans its route based on the saved map. It vacuums and wipes edges, then the room interior. The robot automatically returns to the station to wash mops and add water for optimal results, or you can set a washing interval in the app.

If the robot encounters carpet during mopping, it lifts the mop (up to 1.5 cm) to prevent the carpet from getting wet.

TIP:

If the battery runs out, the robot will automatically return to charge and then resume cleaning from where it left off (this function can be activated in the app).

TIP: If the robot stops cleaning outside the station, return it manually.

Cleaning Upstairs

For cleaning on different floors, it's recommended to move both the robot and the cleaning station. If moving only the robot, remember it's designed for station cooperation. For mopping programs, the station must be nearby to wet/refill mops.

If the robot is on a floor without a station, select vacuuming-only programs. For wiping programs without a station, follow these steps:

  1. Set the mopping program and longest mop soaking interval in the app.
  2. Place the robot in the cleaning station.
  3. Start cleanup; the robot adds water and moistens mops. Immediately pause cleaning as it leaves the station.
  4. Move the robot to the desired floor.
  5. Resume cleaning. This cleaning session should not exceed 20 minutes, after which the robot will seek the station. If it cannot find it, it will continue, but mop moisture will decrease.
  6. After cleaning, return the robot to the station and command it to clean and dry the mops.
