This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your Rohnson R-1555 vacuum cleaner. Please read it carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
The vacuum cleaner features a "PowerFlex" system and a "HEPA Filter".
The Rohnson R-1555 is a teal-colored vacuum cleaner with a distinct front design featuring a control dial and buttons. It includes large rear wheels for mobility.
Safety Cautions
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use by a responsible person.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- For the first operation, it is advisable to read the manual carefully and keep it properly for future use.
- Before the first operation, ensure the dust cup or dust bag is properly installed.
- Make sure the power supply is 230V~ 50Hz.
- Do not vacuum water and inflammable material.
- Do not vacuum burning material and ashes.
- Do not use the machine without a motor protection filter.
- Please change the dust bag immediately when it is damaged.
- Do not store or use the machine close to high temperature places.
- Do not let children use the machine in case of danger.
- If abnormal noise, smell, smoke, or any other failure or breakage is found, turn off the switch, unplug it, and contact a service center for repair. Do not repair by yourself.
- The plug must be removed from the power socket before any maintenance or replacement.
Troubleshooting & Connection
Failure Clearance (Less Vacuum Power)
- The cleaner can be used to tip the rubbish out of the dust bag.
- If blockage is found in the ground brush, hose, or tubes, the machine can be re-operated only after the blockage is cleared.
CAUTION: Never use the vacuum cleaner without filters. Use only for home and indoor rooms!
Connection to the Mains Supply
Check that the voltage stated on the data plate complies with your house mains supply.
Supply Cord
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the nearest authorized service department or a service center authorized by the manufacturer to avoid a hazard.

The Rohnson R-1555 vacuum cleaner is equipped with the following parts:

Always remove the plug from the power supply before fitting or removing accessories. Before putting the appliance into service, please check if all filters are inserted correctly.

Operating Instructions
Rolling the Cable Out and Up
Pull out the cable to a sufficient length for easy working. Connect the appliance to the main supply. Press the switch to activate the automatic rewinder and hold the mains plug for safety.
Using the Vacuum Cleaner
- Before using, unwind a sufficient length of cord and insert the plug into the power supply.
- Press the ON/OFF button to switch the unit on. Press it again to stop.
- You can adjust the airflow using the regulator on the flexible hose:
- Decrease power for cleaning curtains, books, furniture, etc.
- Increase power for cleaning floors.
Cord Rewinding
To rewind the cord, press the rewind button and guide the cord with your hand to ensure it does not whip and cause damage.
Operation Methods
- Connecting/Removing Hose Accessories: Insert the hose end into the hose socket on the base and turn to lock. To remove, turn the hose and pull out from the base.
- Connecting the Tube: Connect the tube to the curved end of the hose.
- Connecting Nozzle Tools: Connect different nozzle tools to the tube for specific cleaning purposes:
- Floor brush (adjusted for carpet or floor type).
- Combined brush & nozzle for sofa, wall surface, curtains, corners, or spaces between furniture.
- Turning on the Machine: Insert the plug into a power socket matching the label, and press the ON/OFF switch pedal to start.
- Cord Rewinding: Hold the plug, pull out the cord slightly, then press the cord rewinding pedal. The power cord will be drawn in.
Maintenance
Emptying or Changing the Dust Bag
When the dust full indicator turns red, it is time to empty the dust bag or replace it with a new one. Open the front cover by clipping. Push the dust bag board to pull out the full dust bag.
Cleaning Filters
To ensure optimal performance, regularly clean the filters, empty the dust bag, and check for blockages.
It is recommended to wash filters at least once a month and replace them once a year. Filters may require more frequent cleaning/replacement depending on usage.
To clean filters:
- Shake the filters to remove dust.
- Wash the filters with cold water only.
- Repeat washing until clean water runs.
- Allow filters to dry completely in a dry area with good air circulation for at least 24 hours.
- Ensure filters are completely dry before installing them.
CAUTION: Do not clean filters in a washing machine. Do not use a hair dryer to dry them.
Cleaning the Outlet HEPA Filter
- Open the grille for the air outlet.
- Locate the filter for the air outlet.
- Take the filter out and shake it to remove dust, as described in the "Cleaning Filters" section.
- Close the grille for the air outlet.
Cleaning the Inner Sponge Motor Protection Filter
Follow the general guidelines for cleaning filters. The filter is washable, but ensure it is completely dry before use. If the filter is damaged, replace it with a new one.
Care, Storage, and Disposal
Care and Cleaning
Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Clean the outside with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Harsh or abrasive detergent can damage the surface. Never immerse the appliance or cord in water or other liquids.
CAUTION: Never use the appliance without filters. Do not use a washing machine to rinse filters. Do not use a hair dryer to dry them.
Storage
The parking system is designed for parking the suction tube/floor brush during short interruptions in cleaning.

Disposal Information

It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection center or to a dealer providing this service.
