Hive Computer Case Installation Guide
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling your AeroCool Hive computer case.
Front I/O Panel Cable Connection
Connect the front panel cables to the motherboard headers as indicated. Refer to your motherboard's manual for precise header locations.
Front Panel Connector Pinout:
- POWER SW: Power Switch
- RESET SW: Reset Switch
- HDD LED: Hard Drive Activity LED
- POWER LED +/-: Power LED
- LED/RGB SW: LED/RGB Control Switch. Note: LED control function is not available for this model.
- F-PANEL: Front Panel Header Block
- HD AUDIO: High Definition Audio Header
- USB: USB 2.0 Header
- USB3.0: USB 3.0 Header
Accessory Bag Contents
The accessory bag typically contains the following items:
- SSD Screw
- MB Screw
- PSU Screw
- PCI Screw
- HDD Screw
- Fan Screw
Installation Steps
1. Install Motherboard
Mount the motherboard onto the case standoffs. Ensure proper alignment and secure it with screws.
2. Install PSU
Install the Power Supply Unit (PSU) into its designated bay and secure it.
3. Install Add-on Card
Install expansion cards, such as graphics cards or sound cards, into the appropriate PCIe slots.
4. Install 2.5" SSDs
Mount 2.5-inch Solid State Drives (SSDs) in the designated mounting locations. The case supports multiple SSD installations.
5. Install Radiators
Install radiators for liquid cooling systems. Radiators are not included with the case.
- Front Radiator: Supports up to 360mm or 240mm radiators.
- Rear Radiator: Supports radiators up to 240mm.
6. Install Case Fans
Mount case fans for optimal airflow. Fans are not included with the case.
- Front Fans: Supports 120mm or 140/160mm fans.
- Rear and Top Fans: Supports fans for rear and top mounting.

The front I/O panel provides access to essential ports and controls:
- Power Button
- Reset Button
- HD Audio Port
- USB 2.0 Ports
- USB 3.0 Ports
LED Control Button Instructions
Press and hold the LED control button for 2 seconds to switch between motherboard and LED button control modes. Cycle through LED modes to turn off the LEDs.
