Overview: Common Actions and Unit Responses

The unit activates the LCD screen and performs specific actions based on the button pressed or connection made:

Note: The unit automatically powers off when all functions are turned off.

Viewing Battery Status

The Battery Status Icon and Battery Voltage Indicator show the charge level:

Charging/Recharging

This unit is delivered partially charged and must be fully charged before first use. Initial AC charge should be for 40 hours or until the battery status icon shows 4 solid bars.

Lead-acid batteries require routine maintenance. Recharge at least every 30 days and after each use if not frequently used.

CAUTION - RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE: Failure to keep the battery charged will cause permanent damage and result in poor performance.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Charging/Recharging Using the Built-In 120 Volt AC Charger:

  1. Lift the protective cover of the built-in 120 Volt AC Charger.
  2. Connect an extension cord to the unit and plug into a standard 120-volt AC wall outlet.
  3. The LCD screen will display charging status (bars filling repeatedly).
  4. Charge for approximately 40 hours or until the Battery Status Icon shows 4 solid bars.
  5. Unplug the AC extension cord from the outlet and then from the unit when charging is complete.

Jump-Starter Operation

The unit is equipped with a jump starter power switch that allows energy flow only when proper connections are made to the battery and frame.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the Compressor Power Button is OFF before using as a Jump Starter.

WARNING - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE:

Procedure:

  1. Turn off vehicle ignition and all accessories. Place vehicle in "park" and set the emergency brake.
  2. Ensure the jump-starter power switch is OFF.
  3. Remove jumper clamps from tabs. Connect the red clamp first, then the black clamp.
  4. For NEGATIVE GROUNDED SYSTEMS (most common): Connect positive (+) red clamp to vehicle battery’s positive terminal. Connect negative (–) black clamp to chassis or a solid, non-moving, metal vehicle component or body part, away from the battery.
  5. For POSITIVE GROUND SYSTEMS: Connect negative (–) black clamp to vehicle battery’s negative terminal. Connect positive (+) red clamp to vehicle chassis or a solid, non-moving, metal vehicle component or body part, away from the battery.
  6. When clamps are connected properly, the LCD screen will indicate readiness (icons solid, jump starter icon flashing).
  7. Turn the Jump-Starter Power Switch ON. Crank the engine in 5-6 second bursts until it starts. The LCD will indicate jump-starting.
  8. The Jump Starter Icon flashes while cranking and lights solid once the vehicle starts.
  9. Turn the Jump-Starter Power Switch OFF.
  10. Disconnect the negative (–) clamp first, then the positive (+) clamp.

IMPORTANT: Always turn the unit OFF when not in use. Recharge fully after each use.

The AC Power Outlet provides a total power draw of 200W continuous. The output waveform is a modified sine wave, suitable for most AC loads.

Protective Features: The inverter monitors and shuts down automatically for low internal battery voltage, high internal battery voltage, thermal shutdown, and overload/short circuit protection.

Using the 120 Volt AC Outlet:

  1. Press the AC Power Button to turn ON the 120V AC Power Outlet. A beep sounds, and the LCD shows "AC".
  2. Insert the 120 volt AC plug from the appliance into the outlet.
  3. Switch on the appliance. Ensure the appliance wattage does not exceed 200 watts.
  4. Press the AC Power Button again to turn OFF the outlet.

Periodically check the unit’s battery status. Recharge when the battery level is low.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the AC Power Outlet is OFF when the unit is being recharged or stored.

USB Ports

The four USB Ports provide a combined total of 6.2A. The two left ports provide 3.1A each, and the two right ports provide 3.1A each. These ports provide power only, not data communication.

Fault Conditions: The unit monitors for low battery voltage, overload, and short circuit. If a fault occurs, the USB ports will shut down automatically. Indicators may flash blue.

Using the USB Ports:

  1. Press the USB Power Button to turn ON all USB Ports. A beep sounds, USB indicators light blue, and the LCD displays status.
  2. Plug the USB-powered device into the port(s).

WARNING: Follow instructions on articles to be inflated. Never exceed recommended pressure. Monitor pressure on the LCD screen.

CAUTION: Do not operate continuously for longer than 10 minutes to avoid overheating. If longer operation is needed, turn off the compressor for a 30-minute cooling period between uses. The compressor will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of continuous operation.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the Jump Starter Power Button is OFF before using the unit as a Compressor.

Inflating Tires or Products With Valve Stems:

  1. Screw the Sure Fit® nozzle onto the valve stem.
  2. Press the Compressor Power Button. The LCD will show current pressure and allow setting desired pressure using [+] and [-] buttons (1-120 PSI).
  3. Press the Compressor Power Button again to begin inflating. The Compressor Icon flashes, and the digital display shows current pressure.
  4. The compressor stops automatically when the desired pressure is reached.
  5. Press the Compressor Power Button to turn OFF the unit.
  6. Unscrew and remove the nozzle. Allow the unit to cool, then recharge before storing.

Inflating Other Inflatables Without Valve Stems: Use the nozzle adapter. Follow steps 2-4 of the tire inflation procedure.

IMPORTANT: Small items inflate quickly; be careful not to over-inflate.

Care and Maintenance

Battery: The battery is designed for the service life of the unit and is not replaceable, removable, or serviceable.

Safe Battery Disposal: Contains a sealed, non-spillable, lead-acid battery. Recycling is required. Failure to comply with regulations may result in fines or imprisonment.
