D-Link Technical Support Setup Procedure

1. Insert Nano SIM into the DWR-BE7200G

• Insert your Nano SIM card into the SIM slot on the router. Use the diagram near the slot as a guide. Push it in gently until you hear a clicking sound.
• Place the router near a window so it can get a better signal from the cell tower. Avoid placing it in shelves / enclosed spaces, or in a spot where LTE / 5G reception is weak.
• Once the SIM card is in place and the router is positioned properly, plug in the power adapter and switch the device on. Wait a minute or two for the boot-up process.

2. Check Network Signal

• By default, the router should automatically detect and apply the APN settings of your SIM card carrier.
• Check the 4G/5G LED indicators on the router.

• If signal is weak, try moving the router close to a window or an elevated placement to get a better LTE / 5G reception.

3. Connect to the Router

• Connect your PC / Laptop to the DWR-BE7200G either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) is DLink2G-XXXX and DLink5G-XXXX, with the password printed on the product label.
• Once connected, open a web browser and type in https://192.168.0.1 on the address bar and hit enter.

You will be prompted to enter the Username and Password to access the router's settings. Note: The default Username and Password are printed on the router's label at the bottom.

Click Login to proceed.

Note: If you have changed the password and cannot remember it, you will need to perform a hard reset on the router.

4. Run the Set-up Wizard

• Once logged in, you will be prompted to run a set-up wizard.
• Create a New login password and Re-enter password. The password must be between 10 and 12 characters and must not be a common word. Once fields are filled, click Continue to proceed.

Network Configuration:

• Enable Mobile Data, select your preferred Network Type (recommended 5G/4G/3G), and set 5G Mode to SA+NSA. Click the Continue button to proceed, or Back/Exit to take a step back or cancel.

WLAN Configuration:

• In the WLAN page, set the SSID, Security type, and Password for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks, then click Continue to proceed.

Placement Recommendations:

It is recommended not to place a wireless router near a microwave oven, cordless home phone, baby monitor, Bluetooth device (such as headset or Bluetooth keyboard or mouse), and any other wireless networking device.

Click Confirm to complete the set-up wizard.

Reconnect to your Wi-Fi and test the connection or go back to the admin page if you still need to finish setting things up or adjust more settings.

5. Configure APN Settings Manually (If auto-detection fails)

• Click the Mobile tab at the top, then select APN from the left-hand menu.
• Click Add to create a new APN profile.

APN Profile Details:

• APN: Enter the correct APN based on your SIM carrier.
• Authentication Type: Select PAP/CHAP.
• Username and Password: Leave blank unless required by your carrier.
• Keep the rest of the settings as they are (default).
• Click Save.

Make sure the newly created APN profile is selected.
