Important Notes

Before starting, ensure your hardware and cooling system are functioning correctly, including tightness, pump function, and fans. This minimizes troubleshooting. Alphacool is not liable for manufacturer warranties on electronic components. Assembly is at your own risk.

• Do not overtighten screws, as this can loosen mounting bolts and prevent uniform cooler contact.
• Avoid using tools like wrenches to fasten connections. Connectors with 8mm threads may restrict flow.
• Perform a leak test before assembling or installing the cooler.
• Ensure the cooler makes contact with all components to be cooled using thermal paste and pads. The provided image shows the correct imprint on a GPU.

The package includes:

• 14x M3x12 screws
• 1x 15mm x 15mm x 1.5mm thermal pad
• 4x 30mm x 30mm x 1.5mm thermal pads
• 1x 15mm x 15mm x 3mm thermal pad
• 4x 30mm x 30mm x 3mm thermal pads

Assembly Instructions

1. Place the hardware on an antistatic mat. Begin by dismantling the original cooler. Remove fan screws and carefully unhook the fan connector. If the original cooler uses thermal glue, exercise extreme caution to avoid damaging parts. Keep all removed parts. Clean the hardware of thermal paste or pad residue with a solvent like alcohol.

2. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the GPU using a plastic strip or thermal paste spreader. The layer should be less than a millimeter thick to prevent contamination of surrounding components.

3. Remove the protective film from the red-marked thermal pads. Place the 15mm x 15mm x 1.5mm pads on the memory chips. The 30mm x 30mm x 1.5mm pads are for the voltage converters and may need to be trimmed. Remember to remove the protective film from both sides.

4. If a protective film is present on the cooler base, remove it now. Clean the contact surfaces on the cooler's bottom side with alcohol or a similar solvent. The surface must be free of contaminants.

5. Place the assembled cooler onto the graphics card as shown in the image. Ensure proper alignment.

6. Cut the yellow thermal pads for the backplate as shown in the image. Place these on the rear side of the voltage converters and the GPU. Remember to remove the protective film from both sides.

7. Position the backplate on the graphics card as depicted. Apply slight pressure to ensure optimal contact between the backplate, cooler, and graphics card.

8. Screw the cooler together. Finger-tighten the screws in a cross pattern, one turn at a time. Refer to the instructions for specific guidance. After approximately 12 hours of graphics card usage, re-tighten all screws.

Safety Advice

• Not suitable for children under 6 years (contains small parts).
• Never operate cooling components without ensuring coolant flow. Coolers without coolant can overheat and cause burns or damage computer hardware. Always verify the pump is functioning when the hardware is powered on.
• Do not use tools like wrenches or pliers to tighten connectors. Plastic or metal-plastic connections can be easily overloaded, leading to cracks or damage. Such damage, or damage from leaking coolant, is not covered by the warranty.
• Use only connectors with a sealing ring. Hand-tightening is sufficient with a sealing ring. Tools are only permitted when explicitly indicated in the instructions.

Intended Use

Alphacool International GmbH cooling components are approved for cooling computer components. Warranty is void for non-intended use.

Warranty Information

1. 2. If a defect covered by warranty exists, you are entitled to request subsequent performance, withdraw from the contract, or reduce the purchase price according to legal provisions. The warranty period for supplied goods is two years from receipt for consumers (§ 13 BGB) and one year for entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB).
3. Warranty claims are valid only with the original invoice, sales receipt, or confirmation from Alphacool International GmbH.
4. Alphacool International GmbH reserves the right to repair or replace defective products or components at its discretion. Replaced products or components become the property of Alphacool International GmbH.
5. All warranty claims are handled by Alphacool International GmbH or authorized dealers. Repairs by unauthorized persons void the warranty unless previously agreed upon with Alphacool International GmbH.
6. Alphacool International GmbH does not cover costs associated with product retrofitting.
7. The warranty excludes: regular checks, maintenance, repair, or replacement of wear parts; incorrect operation or defects from faulty installation; damages caused by natural disasters, fire, overvoltage, war, incorrect power connection, inadequate ventilation, or other external factors; damages from transportation or improper packaging.
8. Consumer rights in the respective country, such as claims against the seller as stipulated in the sales contract, are not affected by this warranty. Alphacool International GmbH, its branches, and distributors are not liable for direct or indirect damages or losses, unless mandated by law.
9. Alphacool International GmbH does not assume the warranty of the electronic component manufacturers. Cooler assembly is at your own risk.
