Cudy RE3000 AX3000 WiFi 6 Mesh Repeater - Quick Installation Guide

Initial Setup

1. Plug the extender into a power socket near your router and wait for it to boot up.
2. Pair the extender with your router using either Method A or Method B.

Method A: WPS Pairing

Press the WPS buttons on your router and then on the extender. Wait for the LED indicator on the extender to light up.

Method B: Browser Setup

1. Connect your computer or phone to the extender's Wi-Fi network. The default Wi-Fi name is typically 'Cudy-Extender'.
2. Open a web browser and navigate to the extender's setup page (refer to the diagrams for specific instructions).
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Connecting Devices and Relocating

1. Connect your device (computer, phone, etc.) to the extended Wi-Fi network. The password for the extended network is usually the same as your original router's Wi-Fi password.
2. If you paired the extender with a 'Cudy Mesh' device using WPS, the extended Wi-Fi name will be identical to your original Wi-Fi network name.
3. Relocate the extender to a position that is midway between your router's Wi-Fi coverage area and the area where you want to improve the Wi-Fi signal strength.

LED Indicator Status

• Red Flash: Indicates pairing or connection issues.
• Solid Red: Indicates a poor connection or no internet access.
• Solid Purple: Indicates the extender is working but may not be optimally placed.
• Solid Blue: Indicates a strong connection and successful internet access.
