Attention
This document contains the Release Notes for LE device firmware version 01.16.02. This version includes feature updates and improvements made after the LE product firmware 01.15.02 released in March of 2024.
Installation and Update Notes
Device firmware updates are available through the ENGAGE™ cloud database.
From the ENGAGE web portal, each lock may be independently selected by the site administrator to have the latest firmware downloaded during the next scheduled Wi-Fi connection. The site administrator may connect locally to individual locks with the ENGAGE mobile application to update an LE with the latest firmware.

Specifically, any customer interested in any of the following Recent Changes should update their devices.
Recent Changes
- Fixed an issue where a new user could be denied access when added through a partial database download.
- Fixed an issue where a Schedule could be corrupted during JSON parsing.
- Fixed an issue where the device could create an incorrect audit for Deadbolt Retract while in Privacy Mode.
- Fixed an issue where the Tag “crSch” could accept incorrect JSON values.
- Added new audit (0900001C) – “Data Parse Error – Partial/Invalid Credential Schedule”.
- General Security Improvements – New Firmware Baseline: Version 01.16.02 is the new firmware baseline. Firmware cannot be downgraded below this version.
