- Ultra-fine mesh: Captures coarse particles from old pipeworks.
- High-performance filter mesh: Retains the finest particles (≥ 30 μm).
- Ion-exchange pearls: For softer water and reduction of metals like lead and copper.
- Natural MicroCarbon from coconut shells: Reduces chlorine for a pure, fresh taste.
The maximum lifespan of a MAXTRA PRO water filter is 150 litres or 4 weeks.
Optimal Filter Performance & Usage
For the best results:
- Filter only cold tap water.
- Use BRITA water filters with tap water from municipal water treatment plants.
- Store filtered water in a cool place and consume within 24 hours.
- For boiling tap water, always filter first, then boil.
Operation and Maintenance
Follow simple steps for cleaning and filter replacement. The jug and funnel are dishwasher safe (max. 50° C), but the BRITA Smart Light lid should be cleaned by hand.
