This document provides instructions for the Mi Computer Monitor Light Bar.
Note: ? Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
Product Diagram:
- Illuminated Area: The main light-emitting part of the bar.
- Power Contact Points ?: Connects the lamp to the base for power.
- Monitor Light Bar ?: The main unit.
- USB Type-C Power Port (Rear) ?: For connecting the power cable.
- Clip ?: Attaches the lamp to the monitor.
Included Accessories
- USB Type-C Power Cable ?: For powering the light bar.
- Remote Control (Pilot) ?: With a control knob.
- AAA Batteries × 2 (Sold Separately) ?: Required for the remote control.

Assembly
1. Mounting the Lamp
- Position the lamp with the illuminated area facing downwards. Connect the power contact points on the lamp to the contact points on the base.
- Place the base on the top center of your monitor ?️. Ensure the clip ? is securely attached to the monitor, and the bottom part of the base rests against the back of the monitor.
Important Notes: ⚠️
- This product is compatible with monitors up to 32 mm thick, including wide-screen, curved monitors, and iMac computers.
- For monitors thinner than 10 mm, the lamp can still be attached, but the bottom part of the base may not touch the monitor's back.
- The angle of the clip at the base is adjustable up to 40° ?. Do not pull too hard on the lamp components.
- This product cannot be used with laptops. ❌
Usage
1. Inserting Batteries into the Remote Control
Follow these steps to install batteries:
- Place the remote control on your palm with the anti-slip pad facing down. Rotate the remote counter-clockwise ? with your other hand to open the rear cover.
- Insert two AAA batteries (sold separately) ?. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are oriented correctly.
- Attach the rear cover, aligning the ? on the bottom with the ? symbol on the anti-slip pad.
- Place the remote control on your palm with the anti-slip pad facing down. Hold the remote with your other hand and rotate it clockwise ? to secure the rear cover in place.
Actions:
- Open Rear Cover: [Rotate counter-clockwise ?]
- Close Rear Cover: [Rotate clockwise ?]
2. Connecting Power ⚡
Connect the power cable ? to the power port on the lamp, then connect the other end to a power source.
Notes on Power Connection: ?
- The product can be powered by an adapter, power bank, or computer USB port with an output voltage of 5V and an output current of over 1A. The power source must be SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage), and the peak voltage must not exceed 5.25V.
- Use the original power cable. Do not use USB extension cords or splitters, as they may cause the lamp to malfunction. ❌
- Do not use fast-charging adapters that do not default to a 5V output. ❌
- If the lamp flickers or makes noise, replace the power source immediately. ⚠️
- Do not connect the power contact points on the lamp or base to any other metal conductor, as this may cause product damage or other hazards. ⚠️
- The original power cable is exclusively for the Mi Monitor Light Bar. The included cable does not support fast charging or data transmission.
3. Controlling the Lamp ?
- Press the knob on the remote to turn the lamp on/off.
- With the lamp on, rotate the knob to adjust brightness.
- Press and hold the knob while rotating it to adjust color temperature ?️.
- Press and hold the knob for two seconds to activate the optimal setting for computers: 2700K color temperature ?️ and 50% brightness.
Pairing Note: ? The remote and lamp are paired by default from the factory and can be used immediately. If you need to re-pair the lamp with a non-original accessory of the same model, turn on the lamp and press and hold the knob on the remote within 20 seconds. The lamp will start blinking slowly, indicating successful pairing. ✔️
4. Adjusting the Angle ?
Rotate the lamp to adjust its angle as shown in the illustration. The adjustment range is 25°.

Safety Precautions
- A single remote can control multiple computer lamps, but a single lamp can only be controlled by one remote.
- When cleaning the lamp surface, wipe it with a soft cotton cloth. Do not use any corrosive solvents. ❌
- When installing or moving the lamp, hold both the lamp and its base to avoid damaging the product or causing injury from falling parts. ⚠️
- When inserting batteries into the remote, ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are in the correct positions.
- Used batteries are not rechargeable. Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries. ❌
- If the remote malfunctions after normal use, it may be due to low battery power. Replace the batteries with new ones and dispose of the used batteries properly according to local regulations to avoid environmental pollution.
- After replacing batteries in the remote, return old batteries for recycling to prevent environmental pollution.
- Remove batteries from the remote if it will not be used for an extended period or if it is to be disposed of.
- Remove leaking batteries from the remote control and dispose of them according to local regulations to avoid environmental pollution.
- Only the manufacturer, its authorized service, or a similarly qualified person may replace the light source in the fixture.
- This product is intended for indoor use only.
- During normal use, maintain a distance of at least 20 cm between the fixture and the user's body.
- When mounting the lamp on the base, ensure the power contact points on the lamp and base align correctly. ✔️
