This section details the components and features of the EJEAS Q2 Motorcycle Intercom System.

Application (APP)

The SafeRiding APP allows you to set up intercom groups, stay in touch with friends, view the multi-language user guide, and access more features. Download the app from ejeas.com/support.

Product Installation

Follow these steps to install the EJEAS Q2 on your helmet:

  1. Step 1: Attach the main unit to the helmet using the provided adhesive mount or clip. Diagrams show two methods for helmet attachment.
  2. Step 2: Connect the microphone and the earphone speakers to the main unit.
  3. Step 3: Route the cables along the helmet and secure them using the included clips or adhesive guides. Diagrams show cable routing.
  4. Step 4: Securely attach the main unit to the helmet mount.
  5. Step 5: The installation is complete.

Low Battery Indication

When the battery is low, the red light flashes twice, and you will hear the prompt "Low Battery".

Factory Reset

To restore the device to its default settings:

Bluetooth Intercom

Intercom Pairing

  1. Long press the Intercom Button for 5 seconds to enter the pairing mode.
  2. Lights: Red and blue lights flash fast alternately. Prompt: "Intercom Pairing".
  3. The device will search and pair.
  4. Upon successful pairing, you will hear "Intercom Pairing Successful".
  5. Once connected, you can start communication.

Intercom Reconnection

The device will prompt "Intercom Connected" when reconnected.

Intercom Disconnection

To disconnect the intercom, press the Intercom Button for 1 second. You will hear "Intercom Disconnected".

Compatible with Old Intercom Pairing

This section describes pairing with older intercom models.

  1. Step 1: Long press both the Volume - (➖) button and the Intercom Button for 5 seconds to enter the pairing mode. Lights: Red and blue flash fast alternately.
  2. Step 2: Click the Intercom Button to enter Bluetooth search mode. Lights: Red and blue flash twice alternatively. Prompt: "Intercom Searching".
  3. Pairing is successful when the blue light flashes slowly.
  4. Step 3: Click the Intercom Button to connect.

Pairing of Other Bluetooth Devices

This function may not be compatible with all Bluetooth headsets or intercoms on the market.

  1. Step 1: Long press the Intercom Button for 5 seconds to enter the pairing mode. Lights: Red and blue flash fast alternately. Prompt: "Intercom Pairing".
  2. Step 2: Click the Intercom Button to enter Bluetooth search mode. Lights: Red and blue flash twice alternatively. Prompt: "Intercom Searching".
  3. Step 3: Put your other Bluetooth device into its Bluetooth search mode. (Note: Supports HFP protocol).
  4. Pairing is successful. Prompt: "Intercom Pairing Successful".

Bluetooth Pairing (Phone)

Phone Pairing

  1. Step 1: Long press the Phone Button for 5 seconds to enter the pairing mode. Lights: Red & blue flash fast alternately. Prompt: "Phone Pairing". (If no phone is connected, it will exit pairing mode after 2 minutes).
  2. Step 2: Open your phone's Bluetooth settings, search for "Q2", and pair with the device.
  3. Pairing is successful. The blue light flashes slowly. Prompt: "Pairing Successful, Connected".
  4. The current power level will be shown on your phone (requires phone to support HFP).

Phone Reconnection

The device will automatically connect back to the last paired phone when turned on.

Mobile Phone - Answer a Call

The device supports auto-answering calls within 8 seconds if no operation is performed.

Call Management

Reject a Call

To reject an incoming call, press and hold the Phone Button for 2 seconds.

Last Call Replay

To redial the last called number, press and hold the Phone Button for 2 seconds.

End a Call

To end an ongoing call, press and hold the Phone Button for 2 seconds.

TEL Priority

When listening to music, FM, or intercom, and a phone call is received, the call will take priority. After the call ends, the previous audio source will be restored.

Voice Assistant

Your phone must support and have the voice assistant (e.g., Google Assistant & Siri) enabled.

  1. Turn on the voice assistant on your phone.
  2. Long press the Phone Button for 1 second.

Music Control

FM Radio

FM frequency range: 76~108MHz. Auto search and radio, intercom, and radio can work at the same time.

EUC Remote Control (Optional)

Details of the EUC Remote Control buttons:

EUC Pairing

  1. Step 1: Clear EUC pairing record: Long press both the FM Button and Volume - (➖) button of the EUC for 5 seconds. Lights: Red and Blue lights consistently on.
  2. Step 2: Pair EUC: Long press both the Phone Button and Volume - (➖) button for 5 seconds. Lights: Red and blue lights flash alternately and quickly. Prompt: "Remote Control Pairing".
  3. Step 3: Click any key on the EUC to complete the pairing.
  4. Pairing is successful. Prompt: "Pairing Successful". (If the EUC cannot be successfully paired within 2 minutes, it will automatically exit the pairing mode.)
