Product Diagram Description
The diagram illustrates the tow bar assembly for the Nissan Micra. It shows the main tow bar arm with attachment points labeled A, B, and E. Also depicted are the left and right mounting plates (T48), the ball hitch (*), the security shackle (-s), and the electrical socket holder (-p). The installation involves specific mounting pieces: -f, -g, and -h. Mounting piece -g attaches to the right chassis beam, aligning with points C and D. Mounting piece -h is placed underneath the chassis beam, connecting to -g at point D. Mounting piece -f attaches to the underside of the left chassis beam, connecting to the tow bar at point B. The tow bar itself connects to the chassis via points A and B, and also has connection points E that interface with mounting piece -g.

Fitting Instructions
- Disassemble the bumper and rear lights, along with the rear exhaust pot and heat shield. Permanently remove the metal buffers from the rear of the bodywork.
- Slide mounting piece (-g) into the opening on the right side of the rear chassis beam, ensuring points (C) and (D) align with the chassis drillings. Place mounting piece (-h) against the underside of the chassis beam, aligning its points (D) with the points (D) on mounting piece (-g). Insert the necessary bolts and washers at (C) and (D) but do not tighten yet.
- Slide the tow bar into the opening on the left side of the rear chassis beam, ensuring points (A) and (B) align with the chassis drillings. Place mounting piece (-f) against the underside of the chassis beam, aligning its points (B) with the tow bar's points (B). Insert the necessary bolts and washers at (A) and (B) but do not tighten. Ensure points (E) of the tow bar align with points (E) of mounting piece (-g). Insert the necessary bolts and washers here and tighten all connections firmly according to the specified torque.
- Fix the T48 mounting plates with the socket holder onto the tow bar at the designated position (*).
- Assemble the ball hitch (*) with the security shackle (-s) and tighten firmly.
- Make a cut in the bottom of the bumper according to the enclosed sketch, then replace the bumper.
- Reinstall all components removed in step 1.
Bumper Cut-out Description
The diagram indicates a specific area on the lower part of the bumper that needs to be cut away. This area is described as the "hatched area" or "gearcereerde gebied". The reference points for the cut are:
- "B" refers to the bumper itself.
- "O" refers to the lower rim of the bumper.
- "M" refers to the middle point of the bumper.
