Installation Instructions
- Disassemble the bumper and permanently remove the metal buffer beam.
- Place the mounting pieces (-g) and (-h) with points (A) on the liberated screw-thread holes after removing the buffer beam. Insert the bolts and washers but do not tighten yet.
- Remove the two plastic caps from the short cross-beam. Insert the tubes (-k) from the underside into the liberated drillings. Remove the floor covering in the trunk and remove the two rubber caps in the base plate (these holes match the holes in the cross-beam). Place the mounting slices (-i) in the trunk. Place the mounting pieces (-e) and (-f) so that points (C) match the described holes. Insert the bolts but do not tighten yet. Place the tow bar between the mounting pieces (-g) and (-h) so that points (B) and (B') of the tow bar match those of the mounting pieces. Insert all bolts and washers and tighten everything firmly.
- Replace the bumper after making an incision according to the provided drawing.
- Assemble (*) and tighten firmly.
Note: Consult your car dealer or owner's manual for the maximum permissible towing mass. Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar. When drilling, be careful not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring, or fuel lines.
