This document provides a quick start guide for the Champion 2400W Dual Fuel Inverter Generator (Model 201271). It covers essential setup, safety precautions, and startup procedures for both gasoline and propane (LPG) operation.
The generator is a yellow and black portable unit.
Safety First!
DANGER: Carbon Monoxide Hazard!
Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poison you cannot see or smell. NEVER use inside a home or garage, EVEN IF doors and windows are open. ONLY use OUTDOORS and far away from windows, doors, and vents.

Failure to operate the product correctly could result in damage to the product, personal property, or cause serious injury or death.
NOTICE: Keep Clear Area
Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.

- Engine Oil (10W-30)

Setup / Montaje

Add Oil:
Recommended: 10W-30, up to 11.8 fl. oz. (350 ml). DO NOT overfill.

Move Generator Outdoors:
Ensure the generator is used ONLY OUTSIDE AND FAR AWAY FROM WINDOWS, DOORS, AND VENTS.

Add Fuel: Gasoline or Propane (LPG)
For Gasoline Operation: DO NOT USE E15 OR E85.

Startup / Arrancar

Do Not Plug In Devices:
DO NOT plug in any electrical devices before starting the generator.
NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON! ?

Prepare Fuel System:
For Gasoline Operation: Turn the fuel cap vent lever to the “ON” (I) position. [Visual: Close-up of the fuel cap showing a vent lever in the 'ON' position.]
For Propane Operation: Open the propane tank valve. [Visual: A propane tank valve being turned to the open position.]

Starting the Engine:
6a. Gasoline Start:
- Turn the EZ Start dial to the “CHOKE” position. [Visual: The EZ Start dial is shown set to the 'CHOKE' position.]

- Turn the EZ Start dial to the “RUN” position. [Visual: The EZ Start dial is shown set to the 'RUN' position.]
6b. Propane (LPG) Start:
- Turn the EZ Start dial to the “CHOKE” position. [Visual: The EZ Start dial is shown set to the 'CHOKE' position.]
- Pull the recoil slowly 3-5 times to prime the engine. [Visual: A hand is shown pulling the recoil starter cord multiple times.]

Connect Electrical Loads:
Once the generator is running, you can plug in your electrical devices.
