How to Read and Understand OBD Codes
P0123 indicates a 'Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit High Input'. This means the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has detected a voltage higher than the normal upper limit for the throttle position sensor. For more details on this code and its possible causes, visit: OBD-Codes.com - P0123
Code Structure:
- P - Powertrain (Engine & Transmission/Gearbox)
- 0 - Generic OBD Code
- 1 - Fuel & Air metering
- 2 & 3 - Fault description: Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) /Switch A Circuit High Input
