Use caution when power linking other model fixtures, as their power consumption may exceed this fixture's maximum power output. Check the silk screen for maximum amperes. Minimum distance to objects/surfaces must be 6.6 feet (2 meters). Minimum distance of inflammable materials from the surface: 1.6 feet (0.5 meters). Maximum temperature of external surface: 185°F (85°C).
General Installation: Do not install the fixture if you are not qualified. Fixture MUST be installed following all local, national, and country commercial electrical and construction codes and regulations. Before rigging/mounting to any metal truss/structure or placing on any surface, consult a professional equipment installer to determine if the structure or surface is properly certified to safely hold the combined weight. Fixture ambient operating temperature range is 14°F to 113°F (-10°C to 45°C). Do not use fixture outside this range. Install fixtures in areas outside walking paths, seating areas, or away from areas where unauthorized personnel might reach the fixture. NEVER stand directly below the fixture(s) when rigging, removing, or servicing. Overhead fixture installation must always be secured with a secondary safety attachment, such as an appropriately rated safety cable. Allow approximately 60 minutes for the fixture to cool down before servicing.
Rigging: Overhead rigging requires extensive experience, including calculating working load limits and periodic safety inspections. If you lack these qualifications, do not attempt installation yourself. Improper installation can result in bodily injury. ALWAYS attach an appropriately rated safety cable (not included) that meets all codes and regulations whenever installing in a suspended environment.
Mounting Positions: The Encore Profile Pro WW is fully operational in three mounting positions: hanging upside-down, mounted sideways on trussing, or set on a flat level surface. Ensure the unit is firmly fixed to avoid vibration and slipping. The structure must support at least 10 times the unit's weight. Safety cables should hold 12 times the unit's weight. Keep the fixture at least 12m (40ft) away from flammable materials.
Rigging Options:
- Omega Bracket: Mount the fixture with a professional grade rigging clamp (not included) to the included Omega Bracket using an M12 screw and nut (not included). Attach the clamp securely to the Omega Bracket, then attach the Omega Bracket to the fixture by inserting both 1/4-turn quick-lock fasteners into the aligning holes on the fixture yoke bracket and turning clockwise to secure. Ensure the Omega Bracket is securely attached before rigging.
- Mounting Yoke: Mount the fixture with a professional grade rigging clamp (not included) to the fixture yoke bracket center hole using an M12 screw and nut (not included). Ensure the clamp is securely attached before rigging.
Safety Cable: Pull the safety cable through the opening on the rear of the unit and over the trussing system or a safe fixation spot. Insert the end into the carabiner and tighten the safety screw. Always use a safety cable as a safety measure to prevent accidental damage and/or injury in the event the clamp fails. Never secure a safety cable to the carrying handle.
Clamp Installation: When mounting to truss, secure an appropriately rated professional grade rigging clamp to either the included Omega Brackets using an M10 screw through the center hole, or to the Mounting Yoke. The fixture provides a built-in rigging point for a safety cable.
External Light Beam Warning: External light beams (direct sunlight, other moving head fixtures, lasers) focused towards the fixture's exterior housing or front lens opening can cause severe internal damage to optics, filters, gobos, prisms, motors, LEDs, etc. This is a common issue across all lighting fixtures. To prevent damage:
- DO NOT expose the fixture and/or front lens opening to light beams from direct sunlight, other lighting moving head fixtures, and lasers while unpacking, installation, use, and extended idle times outdoors.
- DO NOT focus a light beam from one lighting fixture directly towards another.

Multiple Unit Power Linking
This feature allows fixtures to be connected using the power input and output sockets. Note: Use caution when power linking other fixtures, as their power consumption may exceed the maximum power output of this fixture. Check the silk screen for maximum amperes. The Encore Profile Pro WW supports power linking up to 3 units max @120V or 8 units max @240V.
Dimmer Mode Chart
This chart illustrates different dimming curves and their rise/down times. The curves include Standard, Stage, TV, Architectural, Theatre, and Stage 2. Each curve has associated Rise Time (ms) and Down Time (ms) values, affecting the speed and smoothness of dimming transitions. For example, the "Stage" curve has a Rise Time of 780ms and a Down Time of 1100ms.
DMX Setup
DMX-512: DMX (Digital Multiplex) is a universal protocol for communication between intelligent fixtures and controllers. A DMX controller sends data instructions to the fixture via DMX data cables connected to the DATA "IN" and DATA "OUT" XLR terminals.
DMX Linking: DMX allows fixtures of different makes and models to be linked and operated from a single controller, provided they are DMX compliant. For proper DMX data transmission, use the shortest cable path possible. The order of fixtures in a DMX line does not influence DMX addressing; a fixture assigned address 1 will respond to address 1 regardless of its position in the chain.
Data Cable Requirements: The Encore Profile Pro WW uses the DMX-512 protocol and supports multiple DMX channel modes. Your unit and DMX controller require 5-pin XLR connectors for data input and output. Use standard 110-120 Ohm shielded cable. Cables must be daisy-chained; they cannot be split.
Line Termination: For longer cable runs, a terminator (110-120 ohm 1/4 watt resistor connected between pins 2 and 3 of a male XLR connector) may be needed on the last unit in the daisy chain to prevent erratic behavior. An example is the ADJ part number Z-DMX/T.
DMX Addressing
All fixtures must be assigned a DMX starting address to ensure they respond to the correct control signal from the DMX controller. This digital starting address is the channel number from which the fixture begins to "listen" to the DMX signal. The address is set via the digital control display on the fixture. You can set the same starting address for all fixtures (causing them to react identically) or different addresses for each individual fixture (allowing independent control). The fixture will "listen" to the channel number set, based on the quantity of DMX channels required by its selected mode.
