Change a Pan/Tilt Camera's Position Presets

Pan/Tilt cameras can save various position presets. The 'Home' preset is where the camera returns after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Note: Presets can only be updated via the desktop Alarm.com customer website. The Alarm.com app can only move the camera's current position.

  • 180° HD Camera (ADC-V622)
  • ADC-V620PT
  • ADC-V610PT

To Move a Pan/Tilt Camera's View to a Preset

Using the Alarm.com App

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Video.
  3. Tap to select the pan/tilt camera to change the current position.
  4. Tap [move-control].
  5. Tap the desired preset for the camera to move to.

Using the Alarm.com Customer Website

  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Mouse over the desired pan/tilt camera, then click [settings-icon].
  4. Click the desired preset for the camera to move to.

To Change Position Presets Using the Alarm.com Customer Website

  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. From the Video Device dropdown menu, select the pan/tilt camera to edit.
  5. Click Pan/Tilt Presets.
  6. Click [edit-icon] to edit a current preset's position, or click Create New to create a new preset.
  7. Use the arrow buttons on the edge of the Live View image to adjust the camera's position.
  8. Enter the desired preset name in the 'Preset name' field.
  9. Click Save.
