Product Description

The window/door alarm is designed to provide extra security and peace of mind by sounding an alarm when an intruder attempts to open a window or door.

There is no assembly required.

Installation

No tools are required.

1. When ready to install, place each piece of a set on the window or door you wish to secure.
2. Double-check that the 2 pieces will not be more than ½ inch (12.7 mm) apart.
3. Remove the backing on the adhesive strip on the back of the Magnetic Contact and firmly press into place on the door or window.
4. Pull the plastic tab between the battery compartment and battery to activate the battery.
5. Remove the backing on the Main Unit, line up the 2 arrows (as depicted in the diagram) and press firmly into place on the window or door frame.

Operation

• When the 2 arrows are lined up and the units are securely in place, remove the Disarm Key by pulling up on the key.
• When the window or door is opened or the Disarm Key is removed, the unit will sound a loud alarm.
• Keep the Disarm Key nearby to use when you want to disarm the unit or after the alarm has been tripped.

Alarm Volume

89 dB(A) measured at a distance of 3 feet.

Battery Replacement

• Open the battery compartment cover by sliding it down.
• Remove the 3 old batteries and replace with 3 new LR44 button cell alkaline batteries, following the polarity diagram indicated inside the compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment cover.

Caution

• Batteries may leak harmful liquids or ignitable materials, or explode, causing injury and product damage.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or other battery types.
• Replace all batteries of the same kind at the same time.
• Replace fully discharged batteries immediately.
