Important Information and Warnings

Usage: For children from 6 months up to 22 kg (approx. 4 years), whichever comes first.

Safety First:

• Never leave your child unattended.
• Always ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
• Keep children away from the product during unfolding and folding to prevent injury.
• This product is not a toy; do not allow children to play with it.
• The seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months.
• Always use the restraint system (harness).
• Verify that the bassinet, seat unit, or car seat attachment mechanisms are correctly engaged before use.
• This product is not suitable for running or skating.
• Use only Ergobaby-approved accessories and replacement parts.
• Do not use with more than one child in the seat at a time.
• Always lock the parking brakes and check stroller stability when stationary, before placing or removing a child.
• Do not hang items or accessories on the stroller unless approved by Ergobaby.
• Loads attached to the handle, backrest, or sides affect stability. Do not hang diaper bags on the handlebar; store them in the basket.
• Maximum load: 1.4 kg in the seat back pocket, 4.5 kg in the basket.
• For infants without head/neck control, always use the stroller in the fully reclined position.
• All Metro products must be used under adult supervision.
• The Metro Weather Shield is designed exclusively for the Metro Compact City Stroller. Ensure proper installation for airflow and to prevent suffocation. Monitor child constantly and remove in warm weather or if child feels uncomfortable/sweats.

Back-Healthy Tips for Setup and Use

• Assemble the stroller on a stable, raised surface to avoid back strain.
• Use the carry bag (sold separately) when transporting the stroller for extended periods.
• For healthy development, it is recommended to change the baby's position periodically during long strolls, alternating between lying and sitting, or between a baby carrier and the stroller.

Cleaning Instructions

• Avoid excessive exposure to sun or heat, which can cause fading or warping.
• Keep the handlebar and folding mechanisms free of abrasive dirt and moisture. Dry with a soft cloth if wet.
• Regularly check all rivets, screws, and safety devices for tightness and security.
• Inspect and replace wheels if necessary.
• Wipe plastic and metal parts with a damp cloth.
• Never use bleach or detergents.
• Do not submerge or use running water on metal or plastic parts.
• Upholstered parts: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, mild detergent. Do not use stroller without them.
• Sunshade, fabric areas, and weather shield: Wipe clean with cold water and mild detergent.

Disclaimer: Ergobaby uses high-quality dyes to ensure color retention, but colors may fade with washing. Ergobaby is not responsible for color fading due to washing.

Warranty: Ergo Baby Carrier, Inc. warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from purchase (24 months for strollers, excluding accessories). Proof of purchase is required. Contact Ergobaby Customer Service for claims.
