1. Frame Diagrams

The digital photo frame has several control buttons and ports:

Frame Controls:

  • Main Menu / Power: Accesses the main menu or turns the device on/off.
  • UP/Previous: Navigates up or goes to the previous item.
  • Down/Next: Navigates down or goes to the next item.
  • Exit/Stop: Exits the current menu or stops playback.
  • Enter/Pause: Confirms selection or pauses playback.
  • Right/Volume Up: Navigates right or increases volume.
  • Left/Volume Down: Navigates left or decreases volume.

Frame Ports:

  • SD/MMC/MS: Slot for memory cards (SD, MMC, Memory Stick).
  • USB Host: Port for connecting USB devices like flash drives.
  • USB Device: Port for connecting the frame to a computer.
  • DC jack: Power input port.

Remark: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn the device into Standby mode. Press the Power button again to re-activate the digital photo frame.

2. Remote Control

The remote control provides access to all frame functions:

  • Power On/Off
  • Menu
  • Up
  • Select / Execute
  • Left / Volume Minus
  • Exit
  • Right / Volume Plus
  • Down
  • Setup

3. Installation

Insert the DC adapter into the digital photo frame and plug the adapter into a standard power outlet. The frame will start up automatically.

4. Main Menu

4.1 Memory Select

Press the Menu button on the remote control or the frame to access the Memory selection interface. Use the Up and Down buttons to choose between different memory sources:

  1. Internal Memory: Accesses the frame's built-in storage.
  2. Card select: Displays memory cards inserted into the frame. The icon for a compatible card will be highlighted.
  3. USB stick icon: Represents a USB flash drive.

4.2 Computer connection

  1. Connect the frame to a computer using a USB cable.
  2. Edit files via the computer.

4.3 Function Select

Press the Left [] or Right [] button to choose a function, then press ENTER to confirm.

  1. Photo: Select to play a photo slideshow.
  2. Music: Select to play music files.
  3. Video: Select to play video files.
  4. Calendar: Select to display the calendar and clock, often with a photo slideshow.
  5. Files: Select to display and manage files.
  6. Setting: Select to make changes to the frame's settings.

3.1 Photo Display

Choose the Photo icon and press ENTER. The slideshow will play automatically. During the slideshow, press ENTER to switch between "Browse Mode" and "Slideshow" modes. In "Browse Mode", use Up [] or Down [] to view previous or next photos. Press Exit on the remote or the MENU button on the device to return to the thumbnail view.

3.2 Music Display

Choose the Music icon and press Up [] or Down [] to select a music file, then press ENTER to play. Press ENTER on the remote or device to activate and stop music playback.

3.3 Video Display

Choose the Video icon and press Up [] or Down [] to select a video file, then press ENTER to play. Press ENTER on the remote or device to activate and stop video playback.

3.4 Calendar Display

Choose the Calendar icon to display the Calendar/Clock with a photo slideshow. Use the Left [] or Right [] buttons to change the slideshow picture, and the Up [] or Down [] buttons to navigate the calendar by month.

3.5 Files Display

Choose the File icon. All files in the selected memory card will be listed. In Memory card mode, press Right [] to select "Copying to internal" to copy files to internal memory or "Delete files" to delete them. In Internal memory mode, press Right [] to select "Delete files" to remove files.

3.6 Setting

Select the Setting icon or press the SETUP key on the remote control to configure the frame. The operation methods are:

  • Up []/Down [] buttons: Shift items or choose parameters.
  • Left []/Right [] buttons: Change parameters.
  • ENTER button: Confirm the setup.
  • EXIT button: Return to the main menu.

5. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Why can't the Digital Photo Frame play all images or movie files?

A: The Digital Photo Frame supports JPEG, MP3, and some video formats based on firmware specifications. It may not read certain files downloaded from the internet.

Q: I have a memory card in the Digital Photo Frame, but it's not reading the card, what should I do?

A: Firstly, ensure you are using a supported memory card. Secondly, make sure the memory card is inserted fully into the correct slot. Thirdly, select the correct card icon you wish to use.

Q: Why do some pictures load faster than others?

A: Higher resolution pictures generally load slower.
