Introduction

The CHUANGO WS-105 Mini Strobe Siren is powered by AC 100V ~ 240V, requiring no wiring. Users can install multiple wireless sirens indoors in different locations to deter intruders.

Multiple wireless sirens can be wirelessly connected to a control panel to form a system. When the control panel receives alarm signals from detectors, the wireless sirens will sound and the strobe lights will flash.

The wireless siren can also function independently as a control panel, allowing users to build a standalone on-site alarm system by connecting new radio-frequency accessories.

Product Overview

The siren is a compact, square-shaped device with a central circular speaker grille. Above the grille is a button, and below it is a small LED indicator. A prominent circular strobe light is located on the front face of the siren.

Key components:

  • ① Power Switch/Connect Button
  • ② Strobe Light
  • ③ Siren

Power On/Off

Power On

The siren is powered off by default. Plug the siren into an AC power socket, then press the power switch button. The siren powers on after a long beep.

Power Off

While the siren is working, press the connect button once. Then, press and hold the connect button for 6 seconds until a long beep is heard. The siren will power off.

Strobe Light Indication

When the system is armed, the strobe light turns on after one flash.

When the system is disarmed, the strobe light turns off after two flashes.

Work as Wireless Siren

To function as a wireless siren, it must first be connected to a wireless control panel. When the control panel signals an alarm, the siren will sound, and the strobe light will flash to deter intruders.

Connect to Control Panel

  1. Press the connect button for 0.5 seconds. The wireless siren will beep once.
  2. After 3 seconds, it will beep again, and the strobe light will flash, indicating it is entering connecting status.
  3. Press the [SOS] or [Arm] button on the control panel. The siren and panel will connect successfully after one beep.
  4. Press the connect button again to exit connecting status (indicated by one beep).

Notes: Do not trigger any accessories while connecting to the control panel.

Testing

Press the [Arm] button on the remote control. If the control panel's built-in siren and the wireless siren beep once, the connection is successful. If not, the connection has failed; please reconnect.

Work as Standalone Alarm

The siren can be used to build a standalone alarm system by adding wireless accessories.

When the siren is armed, if any sensor is triggered, the siren will sound, and the strobe light will flash to deter intruders.

Connect Wireless Accessories

  1. Press the connect button for 0.5 seconds. The siren beeps once.
  2. After 3 seconds, it beeps again, and the strobe light flashes, entering connecting status.
  3. Trigger a wireless accessory once (e.g., press any button on the remote control, separate the transmitter and magnet of a door contact, or press the test button of a motion detector). It will connect after one beep.
  4. Repeat the above operation to connect other accessories.

Note: The siren supports up to 40 wireless accessories.

Testing

Press the [Arm] button on the remote control. If the wireless siren flashes once, it indicates the remote control is successfully connected. Then, trigger a sensor; the siren should hoot. If not, the connection has failed; please reconnect.

Delete All Accessories or Panels

If wireless accessories, particularly remote controls, are lost, it is recommended to delete all accessories and then re-connect them for security.

Press and hold the connect button for 6 seconds until a beep is heard. Simultaneously, the LED indicator will flash twice, indicating that all connected accessories and panels have been deleted.

Entry and Exit Delay

Entry and exit delay times can be set if you do not wish to use the remote control. After setup, if you arm the system, the siren will beep every 5 seconds until it enters the armed state. If detectors (except those in 24-H zones) are triggered, the siren will sound the alarm after the delay time. (Siren ringing time is 3 minutes).

Setup Procedure:

  • Press the Connect Button twice: sets a 30-second delay.
  • Press the Connect Button three times: sets a 60-second delay.
  • Press the Connect Button four times: sets no delay.

Default setting: No delay.

Note: Pressing the [Arm] button on the remote control twice arms the system immediately.

Switch On/Off Night Lamp

When functioning as a standalone alarm, the siren can also be used as an LED night lamp.

Press the [Stay] button on the remote control; its LED indicator will blink once. Within 3 seconds, press the [Stay] button again. The siren will silently switch to home mode, and the night lamp will turn on. Press the [Disarm] button to disarm the siren and turn off the strobe light.
