Audio Enhancement XD SOLO Reference Guide

Back View Overview

The rear panel of the XD SOLO unit features several controls and indicators:

MP3 Player and Wireless Audio Indicator: [MP3/wireless indicator]
ALD Line Output: [ALD line output]
Master Volume: [master volume knob] (Recommended setting: 12 o'clock or higher)

Remote Volume Control of Microphones

XD Teacher Microphone (OWN) Level Adjustment

To adjust the volume of the Teacher Microphone, press either the UP (⬆️) or DOWN (⬇️) arrow button. A green LED above the OWN indicator will flash with each press.

The SELECT button determines which audio level (OWN or OTHER) is currently being controlled by the UP/DOWN buttons.

Volume Up: ⬆️
Volume Down: ⬇️

XD Student Microphone (OTHER) Level Adjustment

To adjust the volume of the XD Student Microphone (OTHER), first press the SELECT button until the LED above the OTHER label illuminates. Then, use the UP (⬆️) / DOWN (⬇️) buttons to control the volume level of the OTHER microphone.

Turning On Devices

XD SOLO Speaker

To turn on the XD SOLO, flip the power switch located on the back of the device to the 'On' position. The battery indicator lights to the left should illuminate.

XD Teacher Mic

To turn on the XD Teacher Mic, press and hold the PWR/MUTE button until the BATT indicator light glows green. To turn off the XD Teacher Mic, press and hold the PWR/MUTE button for approximately three seconds, or until the BATT indicator light turns off.

Wireless Audio Pairing

Press the power/MODE button to activate the Wireless Audio function. Press the power/MODE button again to turn the Wireless Audio function off.
When the Wireless Audio function is activated, the screen will display "Wireless Audio Disconnected", indicating it is ready to pair.
Activate the Wireless Audio connection on your wireless audio-capable device.
On your device, find the device name “TQ8” in the pairing list and select it to connect.
Upon successful pairing, the speaker will emit a tone, and the screen will display “Connected."
The speaker is now ready to stream audio from your device.
