The ANC function blocks external sounds, ideal for when you need to focus on music or videos without distractions. You can customize these functions and set listening/conversation modes via the LG TONE Free app. Using ANC or Ambient Sound mode may reduce battery life compared to normal use.
Caution: When ambient sound mode is active, you might suddenly hear loud ambient sounds. Be mindful of safety when using ANC outdoors.
Connecting to an External Device for Use (Plug and Wireless Mode)
You can connect the charging case to analog devices like airplane stereo systems, treadmills, cassette players, radios, and TVs to listen via the earbuds.
Connecting with an Analog Device
- Connect the USB-C™ port of the included USB-C™ to AUX cable to the charging case.
- Connect the AUX terminal to your desired device.
- Wear the earbuds.
- Slide the Plug and Wireless mode switch to the right to turn on the mode. The indicator on the charging case will blink green.
- When the charging case and earbuds are connected, the indicator turns off.
Diagram description: Shows the charging case, a USB-C to AUX cable, and an analog device (e.g., a treadmill or radio) with connection points indicated.
Disconnecting with an Analog Device
- Push the Plug and Wireless mode switch to the left.
- The indicator on the charging case blinks blue.
- When disconnected, the earbuds reconnect to the previously connected device. If no previous device is found, it enters connectable mode.
Note:
- The LG TONE Free app and EQ/touch pad settings cannot be used in Plug and Wireless Mode.
- Call function is not supported in Plug and Wireless Mode.
- Compatibility may vary with some devices. Certain airplane seats may require a separate adapter.
- Extended use in Plug and Wireless Mode may result in shorter battery life compared to smartphone use.
Charging
Charging by Wire
Connect the charging cable to charge the charging case with the earbuds inside. Both the earbuds and the charging case charge simultaneously.

Safety Information
Prevention of Hearing Loss
Listening at high volumes can cause permanent hearing loss. Set volume to a safe level. High-pitch sounds can damage hearing over time. If you experience ringing in your ears or faint voice, stop listening and get a hearing test. Louder volumes damage hearing faster.
To protect your hearing:
- Limit time spent using the headset at high volumes.
- Avoid increasing volume to drown out surrounding noise.
- Lower the volume if you cannot hear people nearby.
Refer to your connection device's manual for setting maximum volume limits.

Radio frequency exposure
This Bluetooth LG Stereo Headset is a radio transmitter and receiver that communicates via RF electromagnetic fields (microwaves) in the 2402 to 2480 MHz range. It is designed to comply with RF exposure guidelines set by national and international health agencies.
Bluetooth connection precautions
Bluetooth signal range and reception can be affected by:
- Obstacles like walls, metal, or human bodies between devices.
- Nearby devices using 2.4 GHz frequency signals (e.g., wireless LANs, phones, microwaves).
- Using Bluetooth devices other than mobile phones (e.g., TVs, laptops), which may affect sound quality based on device specifications.
Battery Information
Rechargeable batteries have a long service life when treated properly. New or long-unused batteries may have reduced capacity initially. Avoid extreme temperatures: above +122°F (+50°C) or below +14°F (-10°C). For maximum capacity, use at room temperature. Battery capacity reduces in low temperatures. Charging is optimal between +32°F (0°C) and +113°F (+45°C).

Cleaning Guide
Cleaning Earbud
Regularly clean the speaker hole and air ventilation hole to prevent blockage by foreign substances (sebum, earwax, etc.). Blockages can lead to low volume, noise, or reduced noise-canceling performance.
1. First, separate the ear tip by holding the earbud and carefully pulling the ear gel outwards.
Diagram description: Shows detaching the ear tip/gel from the earbud.
2. Then, clean the holes with a soft brush or cotton swab.
Diagram description: Illustrates cleaning the speaker hole and air ventilation hole (location may vary) with a brush or swab.
