MICKE Desk Assembly Instructions

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA MICKE desk. Please ensure you have all parts and tools before beginning.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1

1. Insert two screws (118331) into the designated holes of a desk side panel using a screwdriver. Ensure they are tightened.

Step 2

2. Insert two dowels (101344) into the pre-drilled holes on another desk side panel.

Step 3

3. Insert two cam bolts (103114) into the side panel and then insert two cam locks (110126) into the corresponding holes on the same panel.

Step 4

4. Connect the prepared side panel to a base panel. Secure by turning the cam locks (110126) with a screwdriver. This step uses one screw (105344).

Step 5

5. Slide a back panel into the grooves of the assembled structure.

Step 6

6. Attach two drawer runners (110519) to the inside of the desk side panels using two screws (105344) for each runner.

Step 7

7. Attach a support rail (123771) to the desk structure.

Step 8

8. Attach the drawer slides (112482) to the sides of the desk frame.

Step 9

9. Attach four drawer runners (100365) to the drawer base using screws.

Step 10

10. Insert two dowels (101344) into the back support panel.

Step 11

11. Insert two dowels (101344) into the drawer side panels.

Step 12

12. Attach the desk top to the main structure using eight screws (118331) with a screwdriver.

Step 13

13. Attach drawer runners (100365) to the drawer assembly.

Step 14

14. Connect another side panel to the structure using two dowels (101344).

Step 15

15. Insert eight cam locks (110126) and eight cam locks (103430) into the top panel.

Step 16

16. Attach a side panel to the desk structure using four dowels (101344).

Step 17

17. Secure the desk top to the side panels using four screws (118331) with a screwdriver.

Step 18

18. Fold a panel into position.

Step 19

19. Insert four cam locks (110126) into the drawer side panels.

Step 20

20. Attach the drawer front using three screws (10081375), one dowel (100086), and one dowel (121030). An Allen key (100092) may be used.

Step 21

21. Attach the drawer bottom panel using two screws (10081375).

Step 22

22. Attach two drawer runners (153549) to the assembled drawer.

Step 23

23. Slide the assembled drawer into the desk frame, aligning the runners.

Step 24

24. Insert two cable grommets (112519 / 121338) into the holes on the desk top.

Step 25

25. Place the cable grommet cover (121304) onto the desk top.
