Safety Information

  • Protect from rain – use in covered areas.
  • Do not immerse the control module in water.
  • Do not step on, pull, tighten, or twist the cable.
  • Do not drop the control unit or place heavy loads on it.
  • During charging, do not place the device near high-temperature sources.
  • During charging, do not place the device in a car or a closed room.
  • Do not use the device at temperatures exceeding its operating range of -30°C to +50°C.
  • The charger can only be used if the power supply is equipped with a residual current device (RCD).
  • Do not attempt to repair faults yourself.
  • Do not use the device if the cable is damaged.
  • The device is intended only for charging electric vehicles.
  • Do not use the device with an extension cord.
  • Do not insert fingers into the charging connector.
  • If the device is not working, contact the dealer for repair or replacement.

Product Description

Illustration 1: Control Module

Illustration 1 shows the control module with various settings and indicators. Key elements displayed include: CURRENT SETTING (e.g., 16A), CHARGING TIME, CHARGING TIME DELAY SETTING, CHARGING STATE, CHARGING POWER, PLUG TEMPERATURE, CHARGING CURRENT, and CONTROL MODULE TEMPERATURE.

Charging Status Indicators

  • Blue Light: Electric vehicle not connected
  • Green Light: Charging completed
  • Colored Light: Charging
  • Red Light: Error
  • Yellow Light: Delayed charging

Features

  1. Temperature Monitoring: The temperature sensor monitors the charger's operating temperature in real-time. If it exceeds a safe temperature, the charger will immediately stop working. When the temperature returns to normal levels, the charger will resume operation automatically.
  2. Automatic Error Correction: An intelligent chip automatically corrects common charging errors to ensure stable product operation.
  3. Safety: The product has undergone proper inspection to ensure the highest safety standards for you and your car during charging.
  4. Durable Housing: Made of polycarbonate, the housing is strong and reliable, tested for internal strength.
  5. Current Adjustment (Model Dependent): Some models allow for current adjustment.
  6. Charging Start Delay: Options for 1h / 2h / 5h / 8h.
  7. LCD Screen: Displays charging time, temperature, and operating mode.
  8. Optional Wall Mount: Available with a bracket (model dependent).
  9. Cable Length: 5m cable.

Information on Use

This product is subject to the regulations for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Return it to an electrical waste collection point that offers safe recycling according to GPSR standards. Check the locations of the nearest electrical waste collection points. If you have questions about disposal, contact the manufacturer or an authorized service center.

Information on Use (TEAVE KASUTAMISE KOHTA):

  1. When using the 16A charging mode, use a socket with a rated current of at least 16A. If using a standard 10A socket, set the current mode to no more than 10A. If the charger is damaged due to an incorrectly set socket current rating, the warranty will not be valid.
  2. Do not place flammable materials, explosives, chemicals, or other hazardous substances near the device.
  3. Keep the charging connector clean. If it is dirty, wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not touch the metal contacts of the connector with your hand. Ensure the charger is not connected to the power supply or the device.
  4. Do not use the charger if the cable is damaged, cracked, worn, or if its core is exposed. If you notice any of the above deviations, contact your dealer.
  5. Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the charger yourself. Improper handling may cause device damage, leaks, power leaks, etc.
  6. If any anomaly occurs during use, immediately disconnect the power supply.
  7. Use the charger under a canopy during precipitation. Protect from rain and snow.
  8. Children should not use the device or come near it during charging, as this may cause injury.
  9. It is strictly forbidden to remove the charging plug from the socket without authorization during charging, as this poses a risk to the vehicle or user safety.
  10. Vehicles must not move during charging. Charging can only occur when the vehicle is stationary. This applies to all vehicle types.

Charging Tips (LAADIMISE NIPPID)

How to Start Charging

  1. Ensure the electrical installation is equipped with a Type B residual current circuit breaker.
  2. Connect the charger to a 230V socket.
  3. (Optional) Set the charging delay by pressing the button with the clock icon.
  4. Set the desired current (using the "A" button).
  5. Connect the charging cable to the vehicle.
  6. Monitor progress on the LCD screen.
  7. When finished, first disconnect the device from the vehicle, then from the socket.

Step-by-step charging:

  1. Insert the plug firmly into the wall socket. (Ensure the socket complies with national standards and has a current rating of 16A.)
  2. Press the [A] button to switch charging current modes, and press the [Clock] button to schedule the charging delay.
  3. Gently pull the cap and fully insert the charging plug into the vehicle's socket. Ensure the charging plug is fully inserted until you hear a click.
  4. The device will start charging.

Current Setting

Press the [A] button to switch between current modes. A mode can be activated by pressing the [A] button when the charger is powered on and no car is connected.

  • The 16A device supports four current modes: 8A, 10A, 13A, and 16A.
  • The 32A device supports four current modes: 16A, 20A, 24A, and 32A.

Setting Charging Delay

Press the [Clock] button to set the time. The charging delay increases by 1 hour each time the [Clock] button is pressed. The maximum delay is 8 hours.

How to Finish Charging

  1. Press the button and disconnect the charging device.
  2. Close the vehicle's socket cover and attach the protective cap to the charging device's plug.
  3. Unplug the charger from the wall socket.
  4. Store the charger.

Note: Some car models lock the charging plug when the device is powered on (turn off the device before removing the charging plug).

LCD Screen Description

The LCD screen displays various information:

  1. Power On (Illustration 6): Shows a welcome message.
  2. Vehicle Disconnected (Illustration 7): Indicates the vehicle is not connected or charging is ready.
  3. Charging (Illustration 8): Shows the vehicle is actively charging.
  4. Delayed Charging (Illustration 9): Indicates that charging is scheduled to start later.
  5. Error (Illustration 10): Displays an error code if a problem occurs.

If an error occurs during charging (Error A, Error B... Error H), first consult the possible causes and recommended solutions, then contact the NTEC sp. z o.o. service department.

Troubleshooting

Error - AThermal Overload Protection1. Check if the current mode is correct. 2. Unplug the electric vehicle charging plug and the power plug, and try again after the charger has cooled down. If the error persists, contact your dealer.
Error - BShort Circuit Protection (CP)1. Unplug the EV charging plug and the power plug, then reconnect the power plug. 2. If Error - B does not appear on the LCD screen, there is a short circuit on the car side. 3. If Error - B still appears on the LCD screen, contact your dealer.
Error - COvervoltage Protection1. Check if the supply voltage exceeds the permitted voltage. 2. If the voltage at the power plug is too high, wait for the voltage to return to normal. 3. If the voltage at the power plug is correct, but the charger still shows Error - C, contact your dealer.
Error - DUndervoltage Protection1. Check that the supply voltage is not lower than the permitted voltage. 2. If the voltage at the power plug is too low, wait for the voltage to return to normal. 3. If the voltage at the power plug is correct, but the charger still shows Error - D, contact your dealer.
Error - FShort Circuit Protection1. Unplug the EV charging plug and the power plug, then reconnect the power plug. 2. If Error - F does not appear on the LCD screen, there is a short circuit on the car side. 3. If Error - F still appears on the LCD screen, contact your dealer.
Error - GLeakage Protection1. Unplug the EV charging plug and the power plug, then reconnect the power plug. 2. If Error - G does not appear on the LCD screen, there is a leakage current on the car side. 3. If Error - G still appears on the LCD screen, contact your dealer.
Error - HOtherContact your dealer.

Conservation

  • Keep the charger clean by using a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. Do not use chemicals.
  • Regularly check power cables and plugs for damage, such as wear, cracks, or loose connections.
  • Ensure ventilation openings are clean and unobstructed to ensure adequate cooling.
  • Avoid contact with water or other liquids to prevent electrical damage.

Warranty and Maintenance Information

The product comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects. Please contact our service department if you have problems with the device to ensure fast and professional service. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, drops, mechanical damage, unauthorized repairs, or disassembly attempts.
