Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
Important Warnings
⚠️ Warning:
- Charge the unit before first use.
- Do not use solar panels with an open circuit voltage higher than 60VDC. The solar input voltage range for the unit is 11V-60VDC.
- Charge the unit immediately when the State of Charge (SoC) drops below 5%. If the SoC drops to 0, power off the unit and charge it for at least 30 minutes before restarting.
- If not used for more than 3 months, charge the unit to 40%-60% SoC and store it with the power off. For optimum battery life, discharge and charge the unit every 3 months.

1. Safety Instructions
Read this manual for proper use and safety information. Actual operation must comply with all applicable safety standards. Contact BLUETTI support or dealers for any questions.
1.1 Statement
For safe operation, observe these conditions:
- Always operate or store the product in the conditions specified in this manual.
- Avoid unauthorized disassembly, component replacement, or software modification.
BLUETTI is not liable for damages resulting from:
- Force majeure events (earthquakes, fires, storms, floods, mudslides).
- Damage caused by customer's own transportation.
- Damage from inadequate storage conditions.
- Damage caused by customer negligence, improper operation, or intentional actions.
- System or hardware damage caused by third parties or improper handling/installation.
1.2 General Requirements
INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Basic precautions must always be followed:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children to reduce the risk of injury.
- Do not put fingers or hands into the product. Do not insert foreign objects into any ports.
- Using attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- To reduce the risk of damage, pull the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting.
- Do not use a damaged or modified battery pack or appliance, as it may cause unpredictable behavior, fire, explosion, or injury.
- Do not operate with a damaged cord, plug, or output cable.
- Only authorized personnel should replace internal batteries or components. Do not disassemble; seek qualified service for repair. Incorrect reassembly can cause fire or electric shock.
- Unplug the product before servicing to reduce electric shock risk.
- WARNING - RISK OF EXPLOSIVE GASES: Follow battery manufacturer instructions and cautionary markings.
- PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS:
- Wear eye and clothing protection. Avoid touching eyes near the battery.
- Never smoke or allow sparks/flames near the battery or engine.
- Be cautious not to drop metal tools on the battery, which could cause sparks or short-circuits, leading to explosion.
- Charge the internal battery in a well-ventilated area, without restricting airflow.
- Under abusive conditions, battery liquid may eject; avoid contact. Flush with water if contact occurs. Seek medical help for eye contact. Ejected liquid can cause irritation or burns.
- Do not expose the product to fire or excessive temperatures (above 80°C / 176°F), as this may cause an explosion.
- Servicing must be performed by a qualified repair person using identical replacement parts.
1.3 Handling Requirements
During transportation or storage, avoid dropping, impacting, or tilting the product to prevent internal damage. Use mechanical assistance (carts, workbenches) for safe handling.

1.4 Storage Instructions
- When SoC drops to 5%, charge the product immediately.
- Before storing, charge to 40%-60% SoC, power off the unit, and disconnect all electrical connections.
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from flammable materials and gases.
- The product can be stored between -20°C to 45°C (-4°F to 113°F). For storage over one month, an ideal temperature is around 30°C (86°F).
- Fully cycle the product every 3 months to maintain battery health. Storing for extended periods may affect performance and lifespan.
If SoC drops to 0 (during storage or startup), take these actions to restart:
- Shut down immediately.
- Charge within 48 hours.
- Keep at ambient temperature of 5°C to 35°C (41°F to 95°F) for 6 hours before charging. Recommend charging via AC source. If using solar, ensure system output is over 100W.
ℹ️ The symbol reminds you to read accompanying literature before operation and maintenance.
- Connect to an earthed socket-outlet using the provided power cord.
- The socket-outlet should be near the product and easily accessible.
- Never dispose of batteries in fire or hot ovens, or by crushing/cutting, as this may cause explosion.
- Avoid high-temperature environments, which can cause explosion or flammable liquid/gas leakage.
- Extremely low air pressure can also cause explosion or leakage.
- Pay attention to environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- Refer to the exterior bottom enclosure for electrical and safety information before installation or operation.

3. Product Overview
The BLUETTI B210 Expansion Battery is a versatile and powerful battery pack with a capacity of 2,150Wh. It is designed to work with the BLUETTI AC240 inverter, allowing expansion of battery capacity up to 10,136Wh by connecting up to four B210 units in parallel. The B210 can also function independently as a power source for DC appliances. It features USB-A, USB-C, and 12V cigarette lighter outputs, making it compatible with laptops, smartphones, car fridges, and camping heaters. Charging options include solar, car cigarette lighter, 12V lead-acid battery, or power adapter.

4. Power ON / OFF
To power on the B210, press and hold the Power Button for about 2 seconds until the SoC indicator lights up.
The B210 powers on and starts charging automatically when it detects input from a connected power source (e.g., wall outlet, solar panel). To restart, press and hold the Power Button for over 2 seconds to shut down all outputs, then press again to turn it back on.
Note: To completely turn off the B210, disconnect all power sources (solar panels, adapter).
5. Charging
The B210 can be charged via a standard wall outlet, solar energy, a car power source, or in combination with the AC240 power station.
Notice:
- Double-check that all cables are firmly plugged in.
- Avoid getting plugs and ports wet to prevent damage.
5.1 Wall Outlet
Plug the B210 into a standard wall outlet to begin charging. A full charge typically takes 4.8-5.3 hours at 25°C (77°F). Charging stops automatically when the battery is fully topped up.

5.2 Solar Panel(s)
Connect solar panels to the B210 using the solar charging cable. With a 500W input, charging takes approximately 4.5-5 hours. Charging time may vary based on weather, sunlight intensity, panel orientation, and other factors.
Note: Ensure your solar panels meet these requirements:
- Voc: 11V-60V
- Current: 10A Max.
- Power: 500W Max.
Notice: If the solar charging cable is unplugged and no DC outputs are in use, the B210 will shut down automatically after about 4 hours.
For solar panels with an open circuit voltage between 60V and 145V, use the PV Voltage Regulator to connect them to the B210 for charging.

5.3 Car Outlet
Connect the B210 to the vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter port using the car charging cable. Charging stops automatically when the B210 is fully charged.
Note: Ensure the vehicle meets these conditions for charging:
- The vehicle must be capable of supplying power.
- The vehicle's engine must be running during the charging process.

ℹ️ Attention: The B210 has a low voltage disconnect function to protect the vehicle's battery. If input voltage drops below 8V, charging stops automatically.
5.4 AC240 Power Station
To charge both the AC240 and B210 simultaneously, connect them using the battery expansion cable and plug the AC240 into a standard wall outlet.
ℹ️ Attention: It is recommended to fully charge the B210 before connecting it to the AC240.

6. Discharging
The B210 is equipped with three DC outlets for charging various devices:

Note: To ensure optimal performance, avoid short-circuiting ports and keep them dry. Do not block or cover ports to ensure proper ventilation.
7. AC240 + B210 Expansion Connection
The AC240 is compatible with up to 4 B210 units, providing a total capacity of up to 10,136Wh. To connect them:
- Ensure both AC240 and B210 are turned off.
- Connect them using the battery expansion cable.
- Power on the AC240; the B210 will turn on automatically. The status will be displayed on the AC240's screen.

8. BLUETTI APP
Scan the QR code below or search "BLUETTI" in the App Store or Google Play to download the BLUETTI App.

10. Troubleshooting
If the Power Button or DC Power Button light flashes, press and hold it for about 3 seconds, and the SoC indicator will start flashing. Refer to the table below for guidance:

11. FAQ
- Q1: Can I use third-party solar panels to charge this product?
A: Yes, provided your solar panels have an open circuit voltage of 11V-60V and MC4 connectors. Do not mix different types of solar panels. - Q2: Can it charge and discharge at the same time?
A: Yes, it supports pass-through charging. The B210 uses a premium LiFePO4 battery and Battery Management System for simultaneous charging and discharging. - Q3: Why is the charging power often too low?
A: The B210 has a built-in intelligent BMS that adjusts charging power based on battery temperature and SoC to protect the battery and extend its service life. - Q4: How to upgrade the firmware of B210?
A: Connect it to AC240, pair with the BLUETTI App, and upgrade firmware (ARM, DSP, HMI, BMS) over-the-air (OTA). - Q5: Why does the B210 automatically turn itself on?
A: The B210 automatically turns on and starts charging when it detects input from power sources like solar panels or wall outlets. - Q6: If I forget to turn off the B210, will it automatically power off by itself?
A: If the B210 is not connected to any power sources or electrical appliances, it will automatically turn off after 4 hours of inactivity.
