Operation
LCD Screen
The LCD screen displays various information:
Indicator | Description |
---|---|
a: ECO Mode | Indicates if ECO mode is active. |
b: Battery Capacity | Shows the remaining battery percentage (e.g., 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%). |
c: Input Power | Displays the current power input in Watts (W). |

f: Output Power | Displays the current power output in Watts (W) and frequency (50Hz/60Hz). |
g: Overload Alert | Indicates if the output power exceeds the rated capacity. |
h: Short-circuit Alert | Alerts if a short circuit is detected. |
Powering On/Off
Powering On: Press and hold the AC/DC/DC 12V Power Button to start up corresponding output. A green light on the button indicates it is ON. The LCD Display will also turn ON.
Powering Off: Press and hold the respective power buttons to shut down corresponding output. The green light on the button will turn OFF, and the LCD Display will turn OFF.
*The LCD screen stays on for 30-60 seconds. To keep it on longer, ensure at least one output port (AC/DC/DC 12V) is active, or briefly press the 12V Power Button.
Note: Turn on the DC power to enable wireless charging.
Mode
Setting Mode: When the AC output is off, press both the AC and DC power buttons simultaneously. The frequency indicator will flash, indicating you are in setting mode.
ECO Mode: In 'Setting Mode', press the DC power button to turn ECO mode on or off. ECO mode helps save power by automatically shutting off AC/DC output after 4 hours of low load (≤10W for AC, ≤1W for DC).
Setting
AC Frequency: In 'Setting Mode', press the AC power button to switch between available AC frequencies (typically 50Hz or 60Hz).
Charging
AC Charging
Simply plug the EB55 into a standard wall outlet using the provided AC adapter and start charging. The AC adapter connects from the wall outlet to the EB55's AC input port.
Note: In ECO mode, the AC/DC output will automatically turn off after 4 hours if the load is below 10W (AC) or 1W (DC) to conserve power.
PV Charging
Connect solar panels (in series or parallel) to the EB55 using the solar charging cable. Ensure your solar panels meet the following requirements:
- OCV: 12-28V
- Input Current: 8A Max.
- Input Power: 200W Max.
Connection involves MC4 connectors from the solar panels to the solar charging cable, which then connects to the EB55's DC input.
Car Charging
Connect the EB55 directly to a vehicle's cigarette lighter port using the car charging cable.
Generator Charging
Connect the AC adapter input plug to a generator, while the output plug goes to the DC charging port of the EB55.
Dual Charging
The EB55 supports dual charging, allowing for combinations such as Adapter + PV Charging or Dual Adapter Charging. For Dual Adapter Charging, an additional adapter (200W AC Adapter + DC7909-XT60 Female Cable) is required.
Discharging
The EB55 can power various devices. Estimated runtimes based on battery capacity (537Wh) and typical device power consumption:
- Smartphone: ? 40-50 times (approx. 10Wh per charge)
- LED Light: ? 20-30 Hours (at 20W)
- Television: ? 5-6 Hours (at 75W)
- Electric Tool: ?️ 5-6 Hours (at 80W)
- Refrigerator: ? 4-5 Hours (at 90W)
- Slow Cooker: ? 2-3 Hours (at 200W)
The formula for estimated charging time is: 537Wh x DoD x η ÷ (load power) = estimated charging time. DoD refers to Depth of Discharge (typically 90%), and η is the inverter efficiency (typically 90%). Load power and charging time are measured in Watt and Hour.
