Language Setting
To set the default language for the first time or after a factory reset, press and hold the '+' button for more than 10 seconds.
Radio Tuning
The JBL Tuner XL supports both DAB and FM radio tuning.
Radio Auto Scanning
When DAB mode is activated for the first time, a full scan automatically starts.
In FM mode, the JBL Tuner XL automatically searches for and tunes to an available radio station.
In DAB mode, the JBL Tuner XL scans all available DAB radio stations and plays the first available station.
Radio Presets
You can save up to 5 preset radio stations.
Bluetooth
Connect your devices via Bluetooth. The device can be discovered and connected.
Waterproof IPX7
The device features IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Important Information
Antenna Care
Severely stretching or snapping the antenna will damage it and affect signal reception. Please avoid risky operation.
Battery Care
To prolong battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions. Do not expose the JBL TUNER XL to liquids without removing the cable connection. Do not expose JBL TUNER XL to water while charging, as it may result in permanent damage to the speaker or power source.
Adapter Recommendations
It is recommended to use the bundled JBL USB adapter. Using other USB adapters may cause poor radio performance.
Power Consumption and Compliance
The product complies with Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/826 ecodesign requirements for off mode, standby mode, and networked standby energy consumption of electrical and electronic household and office equipment.
Power Consumption Information:

Power Management:
The power management function switches the equipment automatically into:
- Standby/Off mode after 20 minutes of inactivity when the system is in normal operation.
- Networked Standby mode after 20 minutes of inactivity when wireless network connection is activated.
Recommended External Adaptor Information:

- Energy efficiency rating: Level VI or complies with corresponding regional or national laws and regulation.
Charger Power Note:
The power delivered by the charger must be between min 2.5 Watts required by the radio equipment, and max 6 Watts in order to achieve the maximum charging speed.
