JBL Horizon 3 Quick Start Guide

What's in the Box

The box contains the JBL Horizon 3 speaker. Power cord quantity and plug type vary by region.

Button Control

The JBL Horizon 3 features several control buttons:

1. Bluetooth: For Bluetooth connectivity.
2. Radio preset: For radio presets.
3. Press: Play / Pause / Exit radio / Snooze / Confirm. Rotate: Adjust volume / Select.
4. Access menu / Return: To access the menu or go back.
5. Ambient light: Controls the ambient lighting.

App Integration

Download and install the JBL ONE app to set up your JBL Horizon 3 and access additional features. The app allows for advanced customization and control.

First Time Use

To set the time and date, you can either do it manually on the JBL Horizon 3 or use the JBL ONE app for automatic time synchronization with your mobile device.

Radio Tuning

To tune into radio stations, use the designated buttons. To exit the radio mode, press the specified button.

Radio Preset

You can save your favorite radio stations for quick access. Press and hold the preset button for more than 2 seconds to add a station to your presets.

Bluetooth Connectivity

The JBL Horizon 3 can connect to up to two devices simultaneously via Bluetooth. To pair a device, activate Bluetooth on your phone and select 'JBL Horizon 3' from the list of available devices. The device will show as 'Connected' once paired.

Alarm Setting

You can set alarms using the JBL ONE app. The display will show the next upcoming alarm time. You can set multiple alarms through the app.

Snooze/Stop a Sounding Alarm

When an alarm is ringing, press the designated button to snooze the alarm. Press and hold the same button for more than 2 seconds to stop the alarm completely.

Brightness Control

Adjust the brightness of the display using the dedicated buttons. Cycle through different brightness levels by pressing the button, or press and hold for a few seconds to access advanced brightness settings.

Charge Mobile Device

The JBL Horizon 3 features a USB port that allows you to charge your mobile devices. Connect your device using a compatible USB cable.

Sunrise & Sleep Mode

Customize your wake-up and sleep experience by setting the sunrise alarm and sleep mode through the JBL ONE app. This feature provides a pleasant transition into and out of sleep.

Multi-Speaker Connection

Connect multiple JBL speakers together for a more immersive audio experience. Follow the on-screen prompts or app instructions to establish multi-speaker connections.
