Quick Start Guide
Welcome to your JBL HORIZON 2 DAB Bluetooth Clock Radio Speaker. This guide provides instructions for setup, operation, and features.
Connections
Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the device and a wall outlet. The power cord type and plug may vary by region.
Backup Battery: Install a CR2032 coin cell battery for alarm backup during power outages.

Language Setting
To set the default language, press and hold 'DAB/FM' + '1' for more than 10 seconds. Select your preferred language (e.g., English, Deutsch) from the options displayed.

Time and Date Setting
To set the time and date, follow these steps:
- Press the 'SET TIME' button.
- Use the volume/setting dial to adjust hours and minutes.
- Press the dial to confirm the hour and then adjust minutes.
- Press the dial again to confirm the minutes and set the date.
- To change the time and date, repeat steps 2 and 3.

Radio Operation
Automatic Radio Scan
FM Mode: The JBL Horizon 2 will automatically scan for and tune into available FM radio stations.
DAB Mode: The JBL Horizon 2 will scan all available DAB radio stations and play the first available station. A full scan will start automatically when entering DAB mode for the first time.

Radio Tuning
Use the manual tuning buttons (2) to scan for stations or fine-tune the reception.
Radio Presets
You can save up to 3 preset radio stations. Press the 'DAB/FM' button and then use the preset buttons (1, 2, 3) to save or recall stations.

Alarm Settings
To set an alarm:
- Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button (7).
- Use the volume/setting dial to set the alarm time. Press to confirm.
- Select the alarm source (e.g., Radio Preset, Buzzer) and press to confirm.
- The alarm icon will appear on the display when an alarm is set.

Snooze and Light
Press the main dial (1) to activate the snooze function when the alarm sounds. Press the dial again to turn off the alarm or the display light.

Bluetooth Connectivity
To connect a Bluetooth device:
- Press the Bluetooth button (3) to enter Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth icon will flash.
- On your mobile device, search for "JBL Horizon 2" in your Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth icon will be solid, and you can play audio from your device.
