Update: BD ChloraPrep™ 10.5ml and 26ml Single Sterile Applicators

Dear Valued Customer,
Due to increased customer demand over the past 6 months, BD ChloraPrep™ 10.5ml and 26ml Single Sterile Applicators will be placed on manual order review to ensure we can maximize product availability for all BD customers. We have not requested the products to go on external allocation with our channel partners as we anticipate meeting customer demand during this time.
The products listed in Table 1 below may experience short-term delays in order fulfillment through October 2024. There is no interruption in BD ChloraPrep™ manufacturing operations with these product codes and this action will help BD better support your needs.

Recommended Actions
- We ask that you continue to order your BD ChloraPrep™ 10.5ml and 26ml Single Sterile Applicators per historical volumes. Significant orders may be subject to manual order review and partial shipment with excess volumes cancelled.
- To ensure supply continuity we ask customers to place orders commensurate with normal utilization as this will help BD minimize the impact to the market.
- Please do not pull forward orders or place stockpile orders.
- Orders will continue to be shipped based on customers' historical monthly average ordering patterns.
