Update on End-User BD Hypodermic Allocation Adjustments for August 2025
Dear Valued Customers,
The purpose of this letter is to provide an update on end-user BD Hypodermic allocation adjustments for August 2025.
BD is committed to supporting U.S. health care providers in delivering patient care while strengthening supply chain resilience through domestic manufacturing of critical medical devices. Due to market events involving Chinese-manufactured syringes, BD made necessary adjustments to our hypodermic product allocation in December 2024 to support inventory supply health for the U.S. market.
BD Hypodermic adjustments to August allocation are included in the table below. Product continues to be manufactured and shipped daily for all codes to support healthcare needs. We will continue to communicate updates to allocations each month as channel inventory improves.
