Snom D140 / D150 / D713 / D717 / D735 / D785 Instructions

1. Making Calls

i. Outside Calls

To make an outside call, take the handset off-hook (?), press the desired phone number, and then press the talk button (?️).

ii. Calling Other Extension

To call another extension, take the handset off-hook (?), dial the extension number, and then press the talk button (?️).

iii. Redial

To redial a number, press the redial button (✔️), use the navigation key (?) to select the desired number from the call history, and press the redial button (✔️) again.

2. Answering Calls

To answer an incoming call, take the handset off-hook (?) or press the answer button (✔️). Alternatively, you can answer using the speakerphone by pressing the speaker icon (?).

3. Transferring a Call / Call Transfer

i. Blind / Unattended Transfer

During a conversation, press the transfer button (?), dial the extension number of the recipient, and press the confirm button (✔️) to complete the blind transfer.

ii. Supervised / Attended Transfer

During a conversation, press the transfer button (?), dial the extension number of the recipient, and press the confirm button (✔️). You can optionally speak to the recipient before completing the transfer by pressing the transfer button (?) twice.

4. Holding a Call

i. To Hold

To place a call on hold during a conversation, press the hold button (⏸️).

ii. To Retrieve a call (Call Hold retrieve)

To retrieve a call from hold, press the hold button (⏸️) again or press the flashing line key.

5. Making a conference (Conference Call)

i. To Establish a Conference

To establish a conference call, during an active call, press the conference button (?), dial the number of the third party, and press the conference button (?) again.

ii. To Leave a conference and talk to the original person

To leave the conference and speak to the original person, press the hold button (⏸️), select the second line ([Line 2]), press the disconnect button (❌), and then select the first line ([Line 1]).

iii. To Leave a conference and talk to the 3rd person

To leave the conference and speak to the third party, press the hold button (⏸️), select the first line ([Line 1]), press the disconnect button (❌), and then select the second line ([Line 2]).

iv. To Leave a conference

To leave a conference call, press the disconnect button (❌).

6. Checking Voice Mail

When the message waiting indicator light (?) is flashing, press the clear button ([CLR]), enter your password, and then use the keypad to navigate your voicemail: press [1] to listen to messages, [5] to repeat the current message, [6] to play the next message, and [7] to delete or undelete messages.

7. Voice Mail Setup

To set up your voicemail, press the clear button ([CLR]), enter your password if prompted. Access mailbox options by pressing [0]. You can then record: [1] for an unavailable message, [2] for a busy message, [3] to record your name, [4] for a temporary greeting, or [5] to change your password.

8. DND (Do-Not-Disturb) Mode

i. Enable DND

To enable Do-Not-Disturb (DND) mode, press the DND toggle button (?️) once. Incoming calls will be rejected, and a DND icon will appear next to your extension name.

ii. Disable DND

To disable DND mode, press the DND toggle button (?️) once while DND is active.

9. Checking Call History

To check your call history and redial a number, press the redial button (✔️). Use the navigation key (?) to scroll through the call records.

10. Forward Call

i. To set up All Call Forward Mode

a) Method 1

To set up All Call Forwarding using Method 1, press the Call Forward button (➡️?), enter the target extension number (e.g., 108), and press the confirm button (✔️).

b) Method 2

To set up All Call Forwarding using Method 2, press the star key ([*]), select "Call Features" (press [2]), select "Call Forwarding" (press [1]), select "Forward All" (press [1]), select "Target when Forwarding" (press [2]), input the target extension number (e.g., 108), press the confirm button (✔️), and then press [1] until "Activate" appears on the screen.

ii. To set up Busy Call Forward Mode

To set up Busy Call Forwarding, press the star key ([*]), select "Call Features" (press [2]), select "Call Forwarding" (press [1]), select "Forward when Busy" (press [2]), select "Target when Forwarding" (press [2]), input the target extension number (e.g., 108), press the confirm button (✔️), and then press [1] until "Activate" appears on the screen.

iii. To set up Time / No Answer Call Forward Mode

To set up Time/No Answer Call Forwarding, press the star key ([*]), select "Call Features" (press [2]), select "Call Forwarding" (press [1]), select "Forward after Timeout" (press [3]), select "Call Forwarding Time" (press [3]), input the no-answer time (e.g., 20 seconds), select "Target for Forwarding" (press [2]), input the target extension number (e.g., 108), press the confirm button (✔️), and then press [1] until "Activate" appears on the screen.

iv. To Cancel Call Forward

a) Method 1 (Applies to any call forward mode)

To cancel any call forwarding mode using Method 1, press the star key ([*]), select "Call Features" (press [2]), select "Call Forwarding" (press [1]), choose the forwarding mode to be canceled, press the confirm button (✔️), and then press [1] until "Activate" appears on the screen.

b) Method 2 (Applies to All Call Forward mode only)

To cancel All Call Forward mode using Method 2, press the "Forward Off" button.

11. Address Book

To access the address book, press the Directory button (?), use the navigation key (?) to select the desired contact, and press the confirm button (✔️).
