1. Making Calls

i. Outside Calls

To make an outside call:

  1. Press the [hook] button.
  2. Press the key labeled [9] and then dial the desired phone number.
  3. Press the [talk] button.

ii. Calling Other Extension

To call another extension:

  1. Press the [hook] button.
  2. Dial the extension number.
  3. Press the [talk] button.

iii. Redial

To redial the last number:

  1. Press the [check] button (often represented by a checkmark icon).
  2. Use the [nav keys] (up/down arrows) to reach the desired number from the call history.
  3. Press the [check] button to initiate the call.

2. Answering Calls

To answer an incoming call:

  1. Press the [hook] button.
  2. Alternatively, press the [speaker] button to answer hands-free.
  3. Press the [talk] button to speak.

3. Transferring a Call / Call Transfer

i. Blind / Unattended Transfer

To transfer a call without speaking to the recipient first:

  1. During a conversation, press the [xfer] button.
  2. Dial the extension number and press the [check] button.

ii. Supervised / Attended Transfer

To transfer a call after speaking to the recipient:

  1. During a conversation, press the [line 2] button.
  2. Dial the extension number and press the [check] button.
  3. Optionally, you can talk and inform the recipient about the call you are transferring.
  4. Press the [xfer] button to complete the transfer.

4. Holding a Call

i. To Hold

To place a call on hold:

  1. During a conversation, press the [hold] button.

ii. To Retrieve a call (Call Hold retrieve)

To retrieve a held call:

  1. Press the [hold] button.
  2. Alternatively, press the flashing line key associated with the held call.

5. Making a conference (Conference Call)

i. To Establish a Conference

To set up a conference call:

  1. During a conversation, press the [line 2] button.
  2. Dial the 3rd party's number.
  3. Press the [cnf.on] button.
  4. Press the [talk] button.

ii. To Leave a conference and talk to the original person

To return to the original party in a conference:

  1. During a conference, press the [hold] button.
  2. Press the [cancel] button (to drop the 3rd party).
  3. Press the [line 2] button.
  4. Press the [line 1] button.
  5. Press the [talk] button.

iii. To Leave a conference and talk to the 3rd person

To return to the 3rd party in a conference:

  1. During a conference, press the [hold] button.
  2. Press the [cancel] button (to drop the original party).
  3. Press the [line 1] button.
  4. Press the [line 2] button.
  5. Press the [talk] button.

iv. To Leave a conference

To end a conference call:

  1. During a conference, press the [hold] button.
  2. Press the [cancel] button.

6. Checking Voice Mail

When the message LED light is flashing:

  1. Press the [message] button.
  2. Enter your password.
  3. Press [1] to Listen Message.
  4. Press [5] to Repeat Message.
  5. Press [6] to Play Next Message.
  6. Press [7] to Delete/Un-Delete Message.

7. Voice Mail Setup

To set up your voicemail:

  1. Press the [message] button.
  2. Enter your password (if any).
  3. Press [0] to reach mailbox options.
  4. Press [1] to record Unavailable Message.
  5. Press [2] to record Busy Message.
  6. Press [3] to record Your Name.
  7. Press [4] to record Temporary greeting.
  8. Press [5] to Change Password.

8. Checking Call History

To check call history:

  1. Press the [check] button for Redial.
  2. Press the [▼] for Received Calls.
  3. Press the [▲] for Missed Calls.
  4. Press the [nav keys] to screen through the records.

9. Forward Call

i. To set up All Call Forward Mode

To forward all incoming calls:

  1. Press [settings].
  2. Press [2] (or choose "Call Features").
  3. Press [1] (or choose "Call Forwarding").
  4. Press [1] (or choose "Forward All").
  5. Press [2] (or choose "Target when Forwarding").
  6. Input the target extension number (e.g., 108).
  7. Press [check], then press [1] until the screen shows "Activate".

ii. To set up Busy Call Forward Mode

To forward calls when the line is busy:

  1. Press [settings].
  2. Press [2] (or choose "Call Features").
  3. Press [1] (or choose "Call Forwarding").
  4. Press [2] (or choose "Forward when Busy").
  5. Press [2] (or choose "Target when Forwarding").
  6. Input the target extension number (e.g., 108).
  7. Press [check], then press [1] until the screen shows "Activate".

iii. To set up Time / No Answer Call Forward Mode

To forward calls when there is no answer:

  1. Press [settings].
  2. Press [2] (or choose "Call Features").
  3. Press [1] (or choose "Call Forwarding").
  4. Press [3] (or choose "Forward after Timeout").
  5. Press [3] (or choose "Call Forwarding Time").
  6. Input the no answer time (e.g., 20 seconds).
  7. Press [2] (or choose "Target for Forwarding").
  8. Input the target extension number (e.g., 108).
  9. Press [check], then press [1] until the screen shows "Activate".

iv. To Cancel Call Forward

To cancel call forwarding:

  1. Press [settings].
  2. Press [2] (or choose "Call Features").
  3. Press [1] (or choose "Call Forwarding").
  4. Choose the forwarding mode to be canceled.
  5. Press [1] until the screen shows "Activate".

10. Address Book

To access the address book:

  1. Press the [directory] button.
  2. Use the [nav keys] to select the desired address entry.
  3. Press the [check] button.
