Connection Guide for Wireless Headsets

The Snom EHS Advanced adapter facilitates the connection of wireless headsets to various Snom phone models. The setup typically involves an EHS box, which connects to the phone's dedicated headset port.

Connecting with GN Netcom/Jabra Headsets

Snom 300: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the Snom 300's headset port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Snom 320, 370, D3x5: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `/EXT` or `/EHS` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Snom 820: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `/EXT` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Snom 821, 870: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `EHS` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Snom D785, D735, D717, D8xx: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `/EXT` or `/EHS` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Other Snom 7xx, D7xx Series: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `/EXT` or `/EHS` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.

Connecting with Plantronics Headsets

The connection procedure for Plantronics headsets is identical to that for GN Netcom/Jabra headsets:

Snom 300: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the Snom 300's headset port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Snom 320, 370, D3x5: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `/EXT` or `/EHS` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Snom 820: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `/EXT` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Snom 821, 870: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `EHS` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Snom D785, D735, D717, D8xx: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `/EXT` or `/EHS` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.
Other Snom 7xx, D7xx Series: Connect the headset cable to the EHS box. Connect the EHS box to the phone's `/EXT` or `/EHS` port using a 4P4C to 4P4C cable.

Note: The 'EHS box' and the '4P4C to 4P4C cable' (labeled '1') are essential components for these connections and are not included in all deliveries.
