This advanced parallel mains noise filter is designed to eliminate high-frequency noise and pollution from your AC power supply, commonly caused by switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) found in modern homes. Say goodbye to noise that can affect audio and electronic equipment performance.
Technology
SnubWay utilizes 4 discrete LRC filters precisely tuned to absorb high-frequency noise across the 10kHz to 2MHz range. Modern homes are filled with SMPS in devices like cell phone chargers, LED lamp power supplies, and laptop adapters, all of which can introduce dirty pulse switching noises back into the AC mains. SnubWay effectively filters these disturbances.
Installation
Simply plug the SnubWay into a wall receptacle to begin filtering. For optimal performance, install it close to the equipment you wish to protect. This means plugging it into an outlet on the same circuit as the component, or into the first outlet of a power strip. If you use power conditioners with separate filter circuits for different outlets, plug the SnubWay into the same outlet or circuit that feeds the power conditioner. This ensures the entire line benefits from the filtration, preventing SMPS noise from affecting downstream devices.
Performance Illustration
A key performance indicator is the reduction in the MC Phono Stage Output Noise floor. While a visual graph is often used, the principle demonstrated is a significant lowering of noise levels across the frequency spectrum, particularly in the higher frequencies where SMPS noise is most prevalent. This results in a cleaner signal path and improved audio clarity.
