The status indicator light shows the device's current state.

Installation

Screw the lightbulb camera into an E26/E27 light socket. [Diagram: Camera being screwed into a ceiling socket.] Do not turn on the light until you have downloaded and logged into the app.

Connecting to the Lorex App

Download the Lorex App by scanning the QR code [QR Code] or searching in your app store. If you already have the app, ensure it's up to date.
Sign up a new Lorex account or log in to your existing one. [App Screenshot: Lorex login/signup screen.]
Turn on the light to power your lightbulb camera. Stay close to the lightbulb camera until setup is complete. [Diagram: Camera powered on.]
In the app, tap the [+] icon to add a new device. [App Screenshot: Add Device screen.]
Tap "Scan QR Code" and scan the code on the packaging or the lightbulb camera. [Diagram: Scanning a QR code on a box.]
Join the lightbulb camera's network hotspot. [App Screenshot: Connecting to Wi-Fi hotspot.]
Set a device password. [App Screenshot: Device Password setup.]
Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and connect the lightbulb camera. [App Screenshot: Wi-Fi network selection.]
Enable or disable audio recording and thumbnails. [App Screenshot: Audio Recording and Thumbnails settings.]
Select the lightbulb camera's installation orientation to adjust its view. [App Screenshot: Camera orientation selection.]
